There are four main styles of loft conversion, dependent on the shape of your roof and property type each offer their own benefits. A velux loft conversion does not alter or increase the current space and is one of the simplest and cost effective conversions. Velux roof-light windows are fitted into the roof pitch to allow natural sunlight to flow in and transform the new space.

We are absolutely delighted that we chose Lawsons Lofts to complete our attic conversion. I don't know where to begin in describing how happy we are with the work they completed because everything they did was just FANTASTIC.
I was so worried about the impact the building work would have on our family life but every single person who came through… our door and through our roof (!) was friendly, polite and respectful. They were also great with our toddler and chatted away to him, not minding if he followed them round with his plastic drill!

We researched local companies for having our loft converted which we was t sure it was even possible due to head height.
Compared to other companies, Lawsons were clear about what could be done and were more than happy answer any questions or worries we had.
Well what can I say we are totally overwhelmed by the space we have and it’s completely… transformed our house. The bathroom is spacious and the bedroom is massive kings size bed / large chest of drawers / bedside tables and still plenty of floor space.
The view in incredible and the whole family enjoys the space.

Great experience from start to finish. Rather than just saying 'yes' to all our requirements, Lawsons took the time to find out what was driving our requirements and offered professional opinions on benefits vs drawbacks, making sure we got the most out of our space.
Everyone took care to minimise disruption and made a big effort to clear up at the end of each day.
The WhatsApp chat was a great way of keeping in contact at times that worked for everyone, and kept an account of what had been discussed, which is often helpful.
Very, very pleased with the space and would 100% recommend.

From start to finish the experience was very positive - all the tradesmen were professional, friendly, hard-working & listened to our ideas & any concerns.
We knew we could get in contact at any time via the WhatsApp group set up by our project manager.
We have yet to move into our loft but absolutely cannot wait to do so once it is painted & carpeted. We absolutely love the generous space created.

Our loft conversion was on budget and completed quicker than estimated. All of the tradesmen were polite, tidy and communicated with each other during every aspect of the work.
