Who are Perfect Manors? Good question. We are not a big, bland hospitality chain. We are small and - dare we say it - perfectly formed. After all, the best things really do come in small packages. We passionately believe that life is too short for banality, for blandness, for boredom. We therefore invite you to come to one of our extraordinary five star luxury properties to "Escape the ordinary".
We passionately believe that life is too short for banality, for blandness, for boredom. The mantra by which we live is "Escape the ordinary". Strong noble words, the cynics among you may be thinking, but in reality, how does that affect me? In so many ways. The properties in a sense mirror the guests' requirements.
Achnagairn Castle is a five-star exclusive-use venue, set in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, on a 30-acre estate. It is breathtaking as a wedding venue, particularly thanks to the castle's crowning glory - a magical, historic, vaulted ballroom.
The ballroom is always the centrepiece of weddings at Achnagairn: the aisle for you to walk down, the setting for the grand wedding breakfast, and the site of the dancing that goes on to the early hours. It truly lends itself perfectly to fairytale weddings, large or small. Although show-rounds are starting to be possible again for couples considering Achnagairn for their big day, we know lots aren't able to make it to the castle for the moment.

You could not hope for a more magical place to tie the knot than Achnagairn's Ballroom. It is breathtaking. In fact, the most common word uttered when people enter the room for the first time is "wow". Built in 1912, Achnagairn's ballroom came into being because the then-owner's daughter was about to have her 21st birthday and she had nowhere to celebrate, poor lamb.
One of the lovely things about Achnagairn Estate as a wedding venue is how it allows you to be surrounded by all your friends, whether your wedding party is staying for one night or more. In total across the estate, Achnagairn can sleep up to 130 people. 55 guests can stay in the castle's 24 luxury, individually designed bedrooms.

Nick and I went to view Achnagairn House as a potential wedding venue as we were looking for something a little different to a hotel - somewhere that would be really cosy for our planned winter wedding and where guests could feel relaxed as if they were in our own home. Achnagairn ticked all the boxes! We had an amazing time there from the 24th - 26th November 2010 and guests have not stopped commenting on our choice of venue and how personal it felt to stay there.
The house was in pristine condition when we arrived, with all the fires set in the drawing rooms to light for when our guests were

My Husband and I had our wedding at Achnagairn House a month ago. We had an absolutely amazing day which well exceeded our expectations.
The house is a fantastic venue (we loved it even when we first saw it after a massive wedding had just left). I wanted something different, relaxed and fun. We looked at many hotels but often they are very fixed on how the day is run and we wanted some flexibility. Achnagairn is run on an exclusive use basis, as such it really is yours for 2 days, and the staff are very unobtrusive making everything extremely relaxed and friendly.

I was at Achnagairn House on Sunday the 6th June 2010 and I had the *BEST meal that I have eaten in the Highlands. The presentation was superb and we were lucky enough to have a tour of the House first...awesome.
