Services
Chichester Nursery School for children over 3 stimulates curiosity and exploration as well as developing independence. Divided into workshop areas where children can select resources and activities according to their interests, it also includes a large well-designed garden area.
Highly skilled staff, led by qualified teachers, plan stimulating activities across all areas of the Foundation Stage curriculum and follow children's interests to extend and develop their learning.Careful observation, and our knowledge of each child, allows us to create an individual learning experience tailored to their own interests and style of learning.

Our Up to 3s' Nursery is a wonderful environment for young babies and toddlers to explore. The free-flow environment is divided into two areas to ensure that we meet the care needs of our youngest babies, whilst still providing that extra challenge for our most inquisitive toddlers.
Both areas are supported by highly experienced and qualified staff, who plan and engage in a wide range of stimulating and enriching activities, both inside and out, perfect for developing children's curiosity, confidence and independence.From the very beginning, the foundations of a trusting relationship between staff, children and parents are laid.

PSE encourages children to value themselves, respect difference in others and develop effective skills in communicating their thoughts and feelings. Skilled and supportive adults are crucial to the effective delivery of PSE by promoting co-operative play and consideration to the needs of others as well as the important skill of negotiating as the children play and share toys.
We are delighted to have been awarded Outstanding by OFSTED in our most recent inspection and OFSTED reports! The quality of teaching is outstanding. The expertise of the staff team means children benefit from exceptional support in their learning and development. Consequently, they are very well prepared for starting school.

My son was here for about 1.5 years, and has loved every day. He made some lovely friends, and the teachers are all excellent. Proper experts in their fields. They were great at identifying any areas where improvement was possible, and finding ways to get the best out of our boy.
Ruth runs a very organised operation here, and surrounds herself with the best team. From the breakfast gang in the morning (wonderful singing and joyfulness to get the day started), to the teachers, the assistants, the wonderful office staff (great at cheering me up whenever I had a wobble) to the holiday club gang,

Both my children have attended Chichester Nursery School, I can’t recommend the nursery enough! The staff are absolutely amazing, the indoor and outside space is a fantastic learning environment for the children.
The staff are so dedicated and bring so much to the nursery, I can’t thank them enough!

I could write amazing things all day long about this nursery! All three of my children have been there and each one has been nurtured and cared for so well, they have been able to leave full of confidence and ready for school. All the staff are amazing, the provision is lovely and easily accessible for littles and we have always felt part of a family whilst there. Definitely a place to look at for your children!

All of my children have attended chichester nursery school and have thrived meeting there targets. My youngest son started after the easter holidays and although he taking his time to settle. I cant fault the staff. They are lovely and really welcoming an make my son feel at ease quickly 😊Highly recommend

We feel really lucky that our daughter is attending the nursery. She loves going there and we have seen her progress, her growth in confidence and her development of social skills. The staff is always supportive, friendly and very caring for the individual needs of all the children that attend the nursery.

Chichester nursery school have been wonderful with all 3 of my children. All staff have been professional and personable and go above and beyond when it comes to supporting, nurturing and caring for my children and our family. I will forever be grateful for how you looked after our eldest, my husband and I just after we had twins and this has extended throughout our childrens journies. I cannot even begin to describe my appreciation for the roles you have all played in our children's development and future. The Collins xx

My daughter started in the Under 3's at 11ish months. They made me feel as comfortable as possible about leaving my little lady to return to work. They worked with us on any challenging times (separation anxiety, nappy troubles), and with her dietary requirements.
She is now at the nursery and absolutely loves it, as do we.
We have No.2 on the way and will be sending he/she there without any hesitation.
I have also attended a few classes and a first aid course at the family centre (or other venues through them). You couldn't ask for more from a free service.
