Homing Park
Do you still like the outdoorsy experience but are looking for something a little more weather-proof and secure? If so, our wooden tents may be just the pitch you're looking for. Here at Homing Park we're all about taking life easy. As you step out of your car and take your first breath of Seasalter air, you'll know you've landed at the right place to recharge your batteries.

Our park facilities include; a tennis court, clubhouse with outdoor heated pool, children's play equipment and ball games area and a laundrette. Or if you prefer, put your feet up and do nothing.
Services
The park stands in about twelve and a half acres and comprises 195 plots for privately owned holiday caravans, and a further 43 pitches for tourers, tents and camping pods. We're about 3/4 of a mile from Seasalter beach, and Whitstable and it's harbour is just over two miles away.

The Tourist Board inspectors have awarded us a Five Star rating, we have a 4 Pennant AA rating, and our camping field loos have been awarded Gold status in the Loo-of-the-Year Awards. The park has been in existence since the 1950's, maybe earlier, and was owned by the Dench family until 1990 when the Boggia family took over and undertook a comprehensive redevelopment of the park.
We're unable to accept commercial vehicles, nor tents larger than 8 berths or more than 5 metres long or wide (excluding the rope bits). There is a surcharge for each additional person of 2.50 per night, and 3.00 for day visitors. Gazebos (open sided only) are limited to a maximum of 3m x 3m, and are 5.00/night - if yours is bigger than this you will need to book an additional pitch for it.
What can be more relaxing than a short country break in the luxury of your own holiday home at Homing Park. Breathe in the sea air and search for cockles as the tide goes out, or enjoy a leisurely cooked breakfast with the paper in your lap away from the humdrum distractions of neighbours and phones etc, on our Award-winning 5 Star park, in the country but by the coast.
Do you still like the outdoorsy experience but are looking for something a little more weather-proof and secure? If so, our wooden tents may be just the pitch you're looking for. What we're trying to offer is a camping-type experience but without the less favourable elements of your weekend away.

We're keeping it fairly simple so you'll still need to bring your camp beds, cooking gear, and sleeping bags etc - so that's basically everything except the tent really! We've kitted our pods with half-glazed lockable doors for security and weather proofing and a rear high-level window for light and ventilation; two double plug sockets, USB charging points, internal dimmable spot-lights, and an exterior light.
Despite being awarded Five Stars by the tourist board we're not the type of park with bowling alleys, fun-fairs and kid's creches. Most of our offerings are straight forward, even simple, but they're clean and they're honest and offer good value. Most of our customers spend their time on park with their feet up reading the paper or catching up with the sport on the telly.
