We are pleased to share that we will be doing with other local GP practices to form the Mid-Sussex division of a national GP group called the Modality Partnership. The local practices that have decided to come together includes Crawley Down Health Centre, Judges Close Surgery, Park View Health Partnership and Ship Street Surgery.

Modality Partnership share our vision and commitment to NHS values and to provide high quality services to our patients. It is also available in the waiting room area or just ask one of our reception staff. You are also welcome to speak with or leave a message for the Practice Manager. GP Practice in Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex are working together to provide more appointments in the evenings and at weekends at our GP hubs.
Services
This practice is currently registered to offer our patients GP Trainees and 2nd year foundation doctors (FY2) which may from time to time be working in the practice. These qualified doctors are gaining experience of general practice before finalising their specialty pathway. These doctors will have slightly longer consulting times.
A triage system operates weekday mornings. This is a system that will allow us to prioritise when and how a patient is seen or dealt with. Patient's are required to ring the practice (between 08:30 - 12:00) and give a brief description of their symptoms and leave a contact number where they can be reached within the next 90 minutes.
We undertake routine immunisations and an infant and child development clinic is held regularly. Our health visitors run weekly weighing and advice clinics. To find out when and where your local clinic is please contact the Health visitors on 01293 651733. Regular clinics for chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure, are run by the practice nurses and doctors.
Please inform us if you move outside the area. We are not able to dispense for patients living within the radius indicated by the dotted circle. For clarification we ONLY COVER Sharpthorne, West Hoathly and parts of Felbridge in East Grinstead and we cover Domewood, Old Domewood and Snow Hill in Copthorne (not Copthorne Village).
Crawley Down Health Centre are here to help all our patients. If you would prefer for us to communicate with you in a specific way due to your impairment please let the receptionist or Clinician know and we will try to assist. As a surgery we are committed to providing the best care for our patients and this includes making information accessible under the Accessible Information Standard.

Used to be ok. Can't get to see a doctor. Face to face rang for appointment for my daughter didn't even bother to ring despite saying they would not impressed. Need a better service than this.

Today just topped it for me to leave a comment. Doctors are amazing here IF you're lucky to get to see one.
I've been coming to Crawley Down HC for around 20 years; yet having being forced to use an out sourced video conference with Push Doctors that misdiagnosed me and sent me to A&E, then a seperate incident that was just a telephone consultation that brought no light to an ailment that's still on going four months later and now today being referred to Queen Vic EG as they have "an insect and bite specialist" which THEY DO not I found after driving there and was told that on three other occasions

Getting an appointment is hard, if there's an issue, you'll get seen in a month or two. If there's no visible issue, then there is no issue. If you go regarding anything mental health related, prepare for your experiences to be dismissed and given a leaflet. But the receptionists are lovely.

Perfect service. Called at 8.30, appointment for 10.20 same day. Reception polite and understanding, GP thorough and efficient. Couldn't fault anything. Thanks you so much.

In the 3 years I've lived in Turners Hill I've only managed 3 doctor's appointment at Crawley Down Medical Centre. Today was an all time fail as for a sore throat which would have been a 5 minute appt, I'm now sitting in the Crawley Walk in Centre waiting 1.5 hours to see a doctor. What a waste of time.

Absolutely appallingly run, you would be dead by the time you get an appointment, and apparently reception staff are incapable of opening a book for the following month! complete joke (if you ever get to see a doctor they are good maybe they should change surgeries!)

I'd give this place zero stars if google let me. This surgery is simply awful. There is possibly one member of reception who is helpful, but I'll be damned if you get to speak to her more than once in a blue moon. The rest of them are rude and have zero empathy for your circumstances - patients are made to feel like a nuisance, it's just horrible. I've moved down here from London, where it is so much more densely populated and I could still get an appointment within a day. Here, as someone else rightly put, you pretty much need to be on your death bed before getting an appointment, or you get pushed

Terrible! Wish I never joined there!
If you try and book an ADVANCE appointment to suit your work times, it's IMPOSSIABLE!. Even if it's 14 days ahead!!
Not everyone can just leave work in the middle of the morning (10.30 > or afternoon 14.30 >. The 1st and last appointments should be available ONLY to normal work hours, i.e. 8am to 6pm. So the patient doesn't have to take too much work time off. Not everyone works in the Crawley Down area, some (like me) work 30+ miles away.
The non peak times should be for the elderly (Not trying to be rude ) and for the non workers, for what ever their reasons
