We had a lovely week here at Easter, renting both cottages. Theresa, Robert and Sam were very welcoming and friendly. The cottages were as described, clean and well furnished. Our hosts took us down onto the farm to see the newborn lambs and learn about farming in general. They really couldn't have been any more accommodating. The properties are located in the most wonderful rolling countryside offering fantastic views especially from Wetton hill, 15 minutes stroll from the farm. The local Manifold and Dovedale valleys are both accessible on foot from the farm and Ashbourne, Bakewell and Matlock

Has a fantastic stay here in a beautiful cottage right in the heart of outstanding and unspoilt peak district. No need to drive anywhere for a few days, just open the door take a deep breath of fresh air and head off. A few great local pubs just down the road. The cottage has everything you need and can sleep six.

Camping barns are pretty much just tents made out of stone, with a roof, with a flushing toilet and a sink if you're lucky (and yes, Alstonefield
