An independent, professional dress designer based in West Sussex, Carolyn Keyes has been making beautiful wedding and evening dresses for over 25 years, with an outstanding reputation for design, quality, cut and fit, working mostly by reccomendation. This is true couturier work; each dress is hand crafted using fabulous fabrics, corsetry, beading, embroidery and hand painting.
Designs range from romantic, classically elegant, slim and sexy, to gorgeously quirky, with new vintage a speciality. We also stock a gorgeous collection of evening and prom dresses that we tailor to fit you beautifully.

Services
To hire an evening/prom dress, we ask you to pay a deposit of 40 which is non refundable, the balance doesn't need to be paid until you come for the fitting, the week you are wearing it. To purchase a dress, we ask for a 50% deposit, also non refundable, thereafter you can pay in stages if you prefer.
We want every bride to be to feel special. We aim to make the whole process, from start to finish, an enjoyable and stress-free experience. AT YOUR APPOINTMENT: Carolyn will discuss any ideas you already have if any, and suggest trying on samples to see what inspires you. This will enable her to find the most flattering cut and fit for you, and also to see how you feel in the various dress styles, colours and fabric options.
We have a stunning collection of prom and evening dresses which are available to both hire and buy. Across both collections we have nearly 300 different designs to choose from, of which we have a small selection of our latest dresses to view below. We have a great mix of styles, from slim and elegant to soft and floaty and not forgetting our classic ballgowns.

Bought the most STUNNING prom dress here! was so so beautiful and insane quality, caught my eye in the shop window and had to make the 1.5hour journey to come back to buy it i loved it so much!! at prom i won the award for 'dress of dreams' and i recieved hundreds of compliments from all my friends and family the staff in the shop are so so kind and im so grateful for the dress fitting and trying on experience, 10000% recommend!!

All I can say I did not realise I was served by Carolyn Keyes herself absolutely put my 16 yr daughter at ease and the prom dress 3 month journey was sorted in 1 hour - she suggested the correct options, absolutely no pressure selling, she was helpful and gave us space and time - I cannot recommend this place enough, I was in Worthing for 1 night and this was definitely a highlight of the trip

Amazing. Carolyn made a bespoke dress for me. I can't wait to wear it at my son's wedding in October.
I have a large tummy and Carolyn was so thoughtful about how she cut out a design for my curves.
She is a pure professional and we are lucky to have her in our locality. Her staff are also fantastic and make you feel very welcome.

I had simply the best experience. I was totally stuck in finding a dress for my friends wedding and had tried over 30 from the high street. Carolyn Keyes was recommended from a friend and I want to pass on the secret! Not only did they make me feel amazing in all the dresses I tried on, they really thought about what suited me and the other dresses in the bridal party. To top off this 5 star service, my dress was altered and ready for me for the big day with no fuss or stress at all. I felt like a million dollars on the big day and got lots of compliments. Myself and other slightly larger girls than average have had a horrible experience with this shop. I won’t speak to others experiences but I went into the shop with my friends to look around a few years ago for prom. now the friends I went in with are thin women and they were treated amazingly by Carolyn and all the shop assistants. I on the other hand was practically ignored, and when she did speak to me she took one look and told me I was a size 16, I was a size 10 at the time. While there is nothing wrong with being a size 16, as a impressionable young girl this greatly upset me. Carolyn herself
