Our lodges are designed to suit a range of budgets and requirements, Budget, Economy & Standard all have half fridges & microwaves. The superior double room also has a half fridge. All rooms, except superior rooms, accommodate pets. Additional charges apply for the latter. You can also book with this facility.

Our fishing lake offers peaceful fishing. Stocked with plenty of carp, and some roach, you always have a chance of catching something. We ask that all fish are released back into the lake immediately after being caught to prevent fish stress levels and maintain the population. Please note office hours are 0900 to 1800 hrs Monday to Friday and 0900-1200 hrs Saturday.

Ideally situated in the heart of the National Forest between the M1, M42, M69 & M6, giving easy access to Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and Coventry, Pinewood Lodge is a central base for business travellers and tourists.

Pinewood Lodge welcomes back Angie Fisher. Angie's fabulous vocal range and talent ensures a super variety of popular music and dance. Reasonable priced bar with a selection of canned lagers, ciders, bottled ales, Whisky, JD, Gordons, Smirnoff etc. You could combine your visit with an overnight or weekend stay in one of our lodges or on our campsite.

Angela was absolutely lovely and made sure we were well prepared for our stay. Area is very quiet and near to Leicester/Birmingham. Twycross is a 15 minute drive away. Everything we needed was in the room. Bed was super comfy! Happy customers!! Thanks Angela and Paul 😃 xx

Quiet. Covid safe. Big comfy bed and ample breakfast basket supplies. With no pubs/restaurants open. Finding somewhere with a microwave in room is a great find.

Very beautiful and country classic. Absolutely loved my 3 night stay in unstick and will definitely consider re staying. Although one improvement is the noise I experienced some unexpected noises during the nights but all in all. It was a very peaceful stay. Toby

I stayed here for 1 night and I cannot express how lovely the lodge we stayed in is! Very friendly and helpful staff, beautifully decorated room, incredibly comfortable bed, lush walk in shower and a very cute complimentary breakfast! I would definitely reccomend!
I look forward to visiting again and staying here again in the future.

Beautifully decorated room in lovely soft greys and blues. Brand new shower room. Impressed by 100% cotton bed linen, and incredibly comfortable materess and cosy cotton duvet. First time ever I had a proper good night sleep in a b and b or hotel (which are often over heated.)
Excellent breakfast with quality Gluten free bread and muesli. The owner even gave me a little bowl of mixed nuts on top of a very copious breakfast because I am GLuten free. . The fuit salad was super, everything fresh, no nasty tinned fruits, even the pineapple was fresh.

Comfortable and clean room with a cosy bed. Room warm. We stayed in an economy room as we had the dog with us but it was still big with tea making etc. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We were staying for a night as we were visiting local family and friends. We will stay here again. The only negative is that an extra pillow would have been nice.

Hello all at pinewood lodge. I would like to say a big thankyou for our wonderfull stay on your campsite this weekend. My family and i had a fantastic relaxed weekend knowing our children was safe to play in your enclosed secure site field. The facilities was nice and clean and we will be returning again and again so we can make full use of the swimming pool and clubhouse on site .This is a little gem on our doorstep Thankyou again the Rawsthorne family

Quiet, a bit run down but very friendly.
UPDATE!!
Having read Angela's reply I have to admit I feel guilty that I might have given the wrong impression of the place!
We did indeed only go into the rustic bar area to see a cracking band. The room was heated by a brilliant log burner kicking out some superb heat which was really nice.
We are due there again in March 2018 for a party and we have three parties travelling over and staying for the night. This will be an ideal time to check out this venue properly and update you with a more realistic account.

Myself and my partner regularly stay at pinewood . We always stay on the campsite and hate having to leave . Angela is a great host and nothing is too much trouble . The kids love the pool and a new toilet and shower facilty is currently under construction. The fishing lake is well stocked and so is the bar lol We love it xxxx
