We rented the smallest of the cabins for 1 week and we have loved it. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and spotless. The sitting room area is really cosy with the fire on and the squishy leather sofa's. The hot tub is fantastic and a really good size considering the cabin is for four people, most thigs like that say they will fit four but you are on top of each other, this has plenty of space. The bedrooms and bathrooms are again well appointed, the only downside we have found to the bedroom is that the main bed is a double and we have become used to a much larger bed, that is not to say

We stayed Monday to Friday end of August 2021. The Cabins were spacious however we had a fly problem in that there were lots of them, not just a few.... we asked the other cabin occupants and they had the same problem. The hot tub was clean on day one but appeared to have some unsavoury gunge stuff in on day 2 and we saw it being cleaned on day 3… but had already been put off going in. The location is good and easily accessible to alton towers and conkers etc. There were lose chickens wandering around who took a liking to pooing on the veranda, this was easily managed though by closing the

Nice quiet stay, well stocked cabin. I have only rated it 2 star because our hot tub broke on the second night and was not repaired for the rest of our stay. As we had gone there to relax, this totally ruined our break. We were not offered any refund at all, not even an apology. Our booking was under the name of McManus. How convenient not to recall any break downs. We certainly remember it!

We booked the waterside lodge at the last minute for a birthday weekend and couldn't have had a better stay! Claire responded to emails really quickly and was very accommodating to arrival and departure times. … The lodge itself is beautiful and in idyllic peaceful surroundings. Claire and Nigel have thought of everything you need in the lodge for a very comfortable stay! we were able to cook a full sunday for four easily. The hot tub was amazing day and night and even in the rain. if I could make 1 suggestion it would to be to have the bamboo all around the veranda to shelter the hot tub

We have just had a lovely week in August staying at Meadow View, the lodge was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need for a family of eight.
The hot tub was fantastic and the location rural and quiet. On the edge of the Peak District there are many places to visit but we enjoyed our evenings at the lodge as much as our day trips.
We will definitely visit again - thank you for a great stay.
