Poor customer service, given wrong gate number, reported it, no one cared, info wasn't changed on system, others given wrong number too, goodness knows what you'd do if you had a caravan on the back, reception miles away so walking back in the dark with no lit walk ways was not an option, when you arrive in the dark as a solo female traveller the… correct gate number is pretty important. no direct number for the club house when reception is closed so couldn't even call anyone. keypad not clear to read, no lighting, pitch numbers not lit, simple solar lights under the number would be helpful

Wow! What sevice! Due to unforseen Covid circumstances we have been unable to use our booking for 5 nights on a touring pitch. We contacted Jemma yesterday and she has been able to offer a credit to us. Brilliant service! A huge thank you to Jemma and the team. We still have a visit to look forward to, now in 2022. THANK YOU!

What a beautiful picturesque Caravan site.
Beautiful walks and lakes around with many different animals to see playing in the fields.
Shower blocks are very clean and heated.
Highly recommend staying here as its local to the local village of Melton which holds wonderful markets and has a variety of shops.

One of the best sites we have visited in our caravan.
We found this site through recommendations on YouTube and visited twice this year, once in May and then again in December for my Birthday.
For the latter we booked a superior extended fully serviced pitch in the southern Meadows (pitch number 92) this gave us an uninterrupted view over a large pond with a fountain, the meadows and trees beyond it were just stunning.
We have booked again for November 2022 for our 20th wedding anniversary.
I simply can't fault any of the facilities on this site.
Its Adults only and very dog friendly.

Very quiet (was December), that said, pitches large and level, great walks around the lakes on the site. Toilets and shower block warm and very clean. The Site offers an on site cafe and bar serving hot meals. On our visit a fish n chip van visited (thursday) and bar staff more than happy to allow to eat inside. All the staff were very friendly, would we stay again, yes!

My wife and I visited yesterday for lunch. We have been here several times as its a great venue and also enjoyed lovely cakes and drinks. Staff are also very welcoming. However this review is based purely on our lunch experience.
We both ordered the mushroom and spinach pie. Unfortunately it was probably one of the worst pies we have tasted. It was very bland, lacking any flavour and the mushrooms were inedible, being extremely tough. I was not in the mood for confrontation, so we left without raising our complaint but rather full plates. That said at no time were we asked if we were enjoying

A very popular site. Mid November and it's full, speaks for itself. Every member of staff have been so helpful and obliging even down to supplying plates knives and forks etc for your own takeaway food in the clubhouse on a Friday night. 1st time here but will be back. Also ideal if you're a coarse fisherman as there's three lakes to choose from.

Great campsite. Facilities are just top notch all round. The pitches are immaculately presented. We stayed on the Southern site and had a fully serviced pitch. The shower blocks were clean and the shower cubicles are massive as well as having piped music. Like the camp site, the fishing lakes are well kept and well stocked. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is here. Driving into Melton Mowbry is a 10 minute drive. If you can get along to the market on a Tuesday it's well worth a visit.

We have met some smashing people, everyone was so friendly and … helpful .. so much so we have booked to go and meet up next year, god willing! If my other half was a fisherman I wouldn’t feel lonely, great walks, gym at the farm shop so easy to meet friends and a Great bar/ restaurant also do afternoon teas, and GF bread! Quiz nights are a good laugh. It’s just lovely to see people laughing together and enjoying themselves especially
