Parade Antiques and Collectables was founded in 1997, and has been trading on the Barbican, Plymouth's historical harbour and tourist center ever since. Our vast range of stock includes artwork, china, glass and ceramics, antique furniture, silver and jewellery, coins and medals, toys, advertising, railway and motoring, maritime, ethnic items, entertainment memorabilia, science fiction and much more.

Given the historical importance of a lot of our items, the Market also doubles up as a 'Curios Museum'. We are based in an early 18th century warehouse near the water edge some 260 square metres in area. The market houses in excess of 60 cabinets and stalls, divided between some 40 dealers. Our market is all on the ground floor with great wheelchair access and we allow well behaved dogs.

A beautiful antique c1590 map of ancient Gaul (France) 'GALLIA VETUS Ad July Caesaris commentaria', following the description provided in Julius Caesar's 'Commentaries of his Gallic Wars' (De Bello Gallico), from the 1593 supplement of Abraham Ortelius' famous Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. His close familiarity with the text is immediately apparent in this scholarly, but also highly decorative map.
A fine condition early Victorian engraved print map of London, titled LONDON 1843. The map is partially coloured, with the Thames and different parks and green areas highlighted in a light greenish brown. The map has been protected over the years, being mounted, framed and glazed. B.R. Davies made detailed maps of London from about 1840 to 1869, and this is one of his earliest.

Worth a visit but I expect you will not buy, as costing hundreds or even thousands
More like a museum.
But some things are cheaper, so you never know what you might find.

The store is great !! Everything looks high quality and we'll preserved. I feel like I should have been charged to go in because the store looks like a museum. I am also quite happy with my shopping there. I bought two rings that I now wear every single day.

A hidden gem if you're visiting Plymouth. Truly a museum than a shop! May be as some Google reviews claim the articles to be overpriced; It is not my subject of interest too. As an art-lover one can always find something to be amazed by the variety of articles displayed.
Norman on the counter was very friendly and chilled. He didn't miss to brag the fact that not only the details are correct on pink plaque (see photo) but also the shop has featured thrice on 'Antiques Roadshow' - a BBC programme.
Even a few minutes spend will not be wasted. Museum with paid entry ticket at times did not give

Absolutely fascinating treasure trove of a place featuring dinosaur eggs through to signed photos and literally thousands of other antiques and curios. Hard to find as even locals if many years haven't heard of it but well worth seeking out.
Free entry but there is a donation box and I honsstly feel it's worth a few quid.

Hi Rob! Just received the knife and axe. Great quality and fast delivery and good communications. Much appreciated. If you ever happen to come across a James Rodgers and son clip point Bowie I would be interested in it . Thanks again Mike Cook and Nance.
