Welcome to our website, we hope you enjoy looking through our pages. As a designer, proportion and quality is what it's all about.
I bought this fireplace insert about 30 years ago intending to install it into my house I was renovating. I sold the house before that job was done, and moved on. I kept the insert because I liked it. I bought this bike about 12 years ago and used it many times, it was a very comfortable ride, you sit up straight, looking at where you are going with the handlebars coming back to meet you, and no.
A spectacular Anglo-Indian table that features all the decorative exotic elements one would hope to find in a piece of furniture from this area and period. There are carved lions to the feet, intertwined serpents to the stem, sitting birds to the base of the column, and monkeys, storks, leopards and Asiatic pheasants carved into the top.
The table is very striking. It is consists of two materials that at first glance, appear to be very similar. Thick plate glass and thick moulded lucite acrylic, you can see through both, but they have subtile differences which show when put together in the form of this coffee table. The 19mm thick glass has a green tint to it because of its thickness and has the dark bottle green edge.
The dresser is beautifully proportioned - it's large but there's nothing heavy looking about this piece of furniture. This is a good opportunity to acquire a very pleasing piece of country furniture in a really warm colour and rich patination, in genuine condition. A piece of this size and refined lines would have been made for a country manor house rather than a cottage.
