Tommy Agar-Robartes was the eldest son and heir of Thomas Agar-Robartes, 6th Viscount Clifden, and his wife Mary (nee Dickenson) and was brought up at Lanhydrock House, Bodmin. He was elected to the St Austell Division of Cornwall in a by-election in 1908 and held the seat until his death. At the outbreak of World War I he joined theRoyal Bucks Hussars as an officer.
Nikki Stevens is a full time London based artist, specialising in watercolour. Although she frequently paints animals, she does not consider herself to be a wildlife artist. Went in to enquire price of object in window. Shopkeeper didn't seem interested or bothered about serving me at all. Hardly looked up from screen. Told me the price and didn't move off the spot, didn't elaborate or offer any customer service. Shame, would have been very interested if he could have been bothered to be interested in me.
