Can't recommend Steve highly enough! I had been wanting to do my full bike test for quite a few years and had looked at many different bike schools, but I am so glad I chose Ride On. I did the 6 day DAS course and I can say it was a pleasure to do from start until finish. Steve is very clear and to the point with what is required which makes the learning both easy and fast.
He is very approachable and I felt very comfortable asking questions if I didn't understand something or wanted him to explain further. He is also a good guy and by the end of the course just felt like a mate who I was going out riding with. I completed a 5 day direct access course with Steve. Even though I had been riding 125 bikes for 8 years I soon noticed I had ALOT to learn.

With over 30 years varied riding experience, our Chief Instructor Steve also has a background in coaching and developing individuals to help them learn new skills. Ride On Motorcycle Training Limited is based in Dorset and covers the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Southampton areas and is dedicated to raising the standard of motorcycling.
Many insurance companies however, will not provide cover unless you have taken some training so contact them first. It makes sense to learn how to ride safely on the road and a CBT does exactly this. Once you have completed your CBT this will allow you to ride anything up to 125cc but L-plates must be displayed on anything over 50cc.

Passed my A2 liscence today, 2 weeks after passing my cbt with Steve at Ride on. Steve was friendly and easy to get on with. He addressed any issues with technique so that i could quickly correct them and move on. He explained things very clearly which helped me learn quickly. Every bike i rode during my training was in great condition and had been maintained nicely and was a pleasure to ride. After my cbt, i did 1 day training on a 125 going over basic rider skills required to ride a larger bike. I then completed 2 days training on a 500cc A2 complient bike. On the day if the test i passed with
