But with our indoor pool, soft play area, tennis court, walk-in rabbit area and friendly animals, you might not want to go out.
Services
Knowle Farm dates back to the 17th Century and all of the cottages are barn conversions. The majority feature original thick stone walls, exposed beams, and are full of character. VisitEngland have also awarded us an additional Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service.
Woodbine will sleep eight people (maximum six adults), plus up to four cots and is ideal for two families. Downstairs is largely open-plan and includes a galleried living area with a high ceiling, exposed beams and trusses, large French windows, a wood burning stove, leather sofas, dining area and a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher.
This is an 'upside down' cottage converted from an old grain storage barn. You enter via either a porchway on the ground floor or external steps to an upstairs door. Downstairs are two bedrooms: one king size double and one bunk bedded. The king features 300 thread count luxury Dorma bed linen. There is a separate bathroom/WC with Japanese-style square plunge bath and shower.
Find out about all the things you can do at Knowle Farm, whatever the weather, without ever needing the car. Our indoor heated pool measures 34 feet by 17 feet and has gentle steps into the shallow end.

With the six large south facing patio windows that overlook the pond and countryside you can enjoy swimming all year at Knowle Farm and on finer days with the outside decking area you will be able to stretch out in the sun between dips in the pool.
Located near Totnes and just 5 minutes from Dartmoor and 30 minutes from sandy beaches, Knowle Farm's central South Devon location allows easy access to all that the region has to offer. Knowle Farm is set in rural countryside on the outskirts of Rattery, approximately ten minutes west of the historic market town of Totnes on the River Dart.

Aside from the tiny road that you need to travel to get here, this is an amazing place to stay for a holiday (if you have a young child). The farm has lots of animals that they can interact with as well as a very well equipped indoor play area and a swimming pool. The farm has sheep, rabbits, Guinea pigs, a horse, a donkey and plenty of ducks & chickens.

This place is amazing. The owners are lovely, friendly, supportive but unobtrusive. The farm and surrounding countryside is beautiful and there is so much for the kids to do that you may get a few minutes to enjoy it. Will be coming back. Many thanks

Excellent place for young families to explore and learn about farms, animals and nature. Great walks, friendly farmers and plenty to do for us. Love the swimming pool, rabbit enclosure, the ducks and the mini soft play!

Excellent place to stay with young kids. We visited recently in mid June and had a great time. The weather was brilliant, so admittedly that opens up many options that poorer weather might not allow. The farm itself is very well set up with an outdoor toy car track, indoor soft play, wildlife walks and indoor swimming pool. The accommodation we had was very well sized (stayed in the 2 bed converted barn adjacent to the pool). The weather was unusually hot on our stay, so at times a little tricky to keep everything cool but the same could be said of any accommodation without aircon. The family running
