Services
We opened the doors in Wimbledon Village to welcome our first customers and have never looked back!. People often ask how Jennie came by the name Bayley & Sage. It is, in part, named after the son of a friend, as an homage to the next generation, and after sage, for both wisdom and the herb, and that is how Bayley & Sage came to be!
During the pandemic we have continued to support our Bayley & Sage community by keeping 7 out of our 8 stores open (now all back up and running), keeping our shelves as full as possible, keeping our staff employed, (in fact we have hired over 40 new people) keeping many of our suppliers trading. We introduced a 10% discount for all NHS workers and have supported 3 NHS hospitals and Felix's Foundation with food donations in excess of 5000.
Due to expansion we are regularly looking for new Team Members who are passionate about delivering professional and friendly customer service. You may come from any area of hospitality or retail, but above all you love interacting with the public. We have opportunities in many different roles across our small and large stores, as well as on our specialist food counters.
We are very aware of the use of plastic in our stores, and we are continually working on reducing the level of usage and replacing with natural materials wherever possible. Plastic Bags: Our bags are bio-degradable and strong enough for you to carry your shopping home safely. We have found that paper bags are not that sturdy and melt in the rain!
Our buyer has been haunting New Covent Garden market in the early hours for years, selecting the best fresh produce he can get his hands on, and taking delivery of special products shipped in just for us from the famous fruit and veg markets in Milan, and Rungis just outside Paris.
With peppers that look nothing like the sort that lurk on supermarket shelves to the finest Ventoux cherries as soon as they're available, we always have something a little different to sit alongside the essentials, and it's all always of the highest quality.

Lovely store with a great variety of fruit veg honey meat & fish. Staff very friendly many interesting things to discover on their shelves. I bought some raisins to make Christmas pudding, the box was too big so a very nice staff member measured the quantity I needed. Very helpful man & I found some nice almond maccaroons delicious with a cup of tea. I will return.

This little market has a collection of cooking staples and freshly baked bread. Nice selection of international cheese but nothing that compares to a cheese purveyor storefront. If money is not an object that you cherish than this is the place for you. If you're looking to pick up milk on the way home, or stop for some fruit on the way to work than it's probably best to find those types of things elsewhere.

I was Happy to try Bayley And Sage newly opened in Battersea .
I tried the gratin dauphinois .... Just disgusting !!!! Half of the portion was oil.
The the worst I ever had !!!!
The ratatouille not much better...
And no worst purchasing their meat wich is very expensive and far less testy than our local Butchers!
The cheese is not well displayed and it s much nicer to get the cheese opposite in Hamish Johnson!
Only the strawberries were nice...
So disappointed!!!!
