We welcome children from the age of 12 months to two and a half years to learn and thrive in a safe and inspiring space. With a ratio of one adult to three children, we offer one room for toddlers at Colindale and two rooms at Edgware. In an environment specially designed for them, children have the freedom to move and explore.
With a ratio of six children to one directress, children thrive and grow in an environment of support and care. At Colindale, our Butterflies class welcomes children from 24 months to four years, and at Edgware, children aged 36 months to four years join the fun in Poppies class. Our Montessori classrooms facilitate children's development and independence.
Originally from Nigeria, founder and director Arike Aiyetigbo created a Montessori school when she couldn't find adequate, quality early child care for her daughter. She's incorporated feedback from families to deliver an experience customized to family needs. Our qualified team of early educators relies on evidence-based Montessori philosophies to create a nurturing, child-centric environment where children aren't pushed into timed expectations.

Two of my children go to fountain Montessori and youngest will also start there soon. Both love their nursery and always go there with a smile. They enjoy their time there and I can see how they flourish there. Nurturing environment lots of educational play both in group and individually and caring staff is what sums it up for me.

My daughter attended Fountain and now my son currently goes there - I have felt very comfortable having them there. It's great that my kids learn French, IT, homeskills and other activities but the most important part for me is that they are surrounded by people who are happy to be working at the nursery every day and who are willing to treat my kids as if they were their own. The quality of care Fountain provides for my children with the effort of its great staff and for the comfort and peace of mind they provide knowing my kids are well cared for.

The best !!!!
I really recommend, my child has learned a great deal from all the supportive long term staff here. My child has bonded well with the teachers in the class and is developing fast!
They really nurture the kids and are engaged with their personal development.

We have been part of the Fountain family for 5 years. It’s a very nurturing and loving environment- the teachers are excellent & can see how much they care about each child.
With the recent challenges faced due to Covid-19, the nursery has responded extremely well in getting back up and running with the safety measures put in place. We feel reassured with the checks and practices implemented. Well done Fountain team!

Im very happy that my daughter has the Opportunity to attend such a wonderful nursery as Fountain Montessori. The well educated Staff cares for proper development of my daughter, teaches her to acquire new skills and cares about her safety. There is a nice atmosphere in nursery and the staff working there is very friendly and helpful to parents.

Our oldest has come out of his shell since joining Fountain Montessori School. It's like a home a way from home, his safe heaven and a comfort zone for him.
Our youngest always looked forward to joining his brother and he did in Jan. He settled in fine and his key worker is amazing, the staff all make a good team.
My concerns have been dealth with professionally, and they are genuinely there to help.
I recommend this nursery to parents looking for the whole package. They put in their very best.

Extremely expensive nursery with an African nursery director with NO integrity whatsoever but who likes claiming to be a "good Christian!" Most staff don't even speak good English and dare to raise concerns over children without even having a degree in childcare but causing problems to parents by way of calling social services or writing reports with little understanding of children. Arike, the owner, caused a lot of damage to my child and family with her narrow minded attitude and extremely selfish behaviour. No to be trusted at all! All the positive reviews are from parents who pay lots of money

My twins just finished second year in Fountain Montressori. We couldn’t imagin better place for them. They were so happy there, learning a lot (they starts nursery without knowing English but now they can even read syllables at the age of 4!) Teachers also helps to resolve behavior problems, working individually with parents and children. I really highly recommend this nursery to all parents!
