Sam Morris Nursery
Our nursery has been providing high quality childcare since 1996. We provide professional day nursery for babies, toddlers and young children aged from 6 months through to 5 years. Our purpose-built centre provides indoor and outdoor activities within a peaceful setting. Our overriding childcare philosophy is to provide a stimulating and safe environment for your child.

We have a structured programme of activities designed to allow your child to learn through fun, imagination and thoughtful guidance. Our staff are trained to bring out the best in your children and to help them develop as individuals. Your child will be able to progress at his/her own pace by learning through a variety of activities each designed for specific areas of child development.
Services
At the nursery, we have 10 permanent members of staff, with qualifications from level 3 to level 6 and 1 Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS). The Manager, Sandra Warne, has over 20 years' experience of working with children and holds her EYTS. The Deputy Manager, Melanie Warne, has over 15 years' experience.
At the Sam Morris Nursery our caring and committed team understand the importance of providing rich early years experiences for future successes. In a safe and nurturing environment we install a love of learning through play, challenge and exploration. Strong relationships are built with families so everyone feels welcomed valued and respected and children's voices are heard and parents feel supported.
The nursery is located in a purpose built building in a quiet area off Isledon Road only a couple of minutes from Finsbury Park station. The dedicated space is split between two main areas, Starlight room for babies and Open plan for toddlers. There is also a great outdoor play area for the children including a dedicated individual space for babies.
At the Sam Morris Nursery, we work towards The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS is devised into 7 areas of learning which we use to asses, plan and observe the children's individual needs and interests. It is implemented by a range of broad and balanced adult led and child initiated everyday activities that support the children's overall development.
At The Sam Morris Nursery we welcome children with special educational needs as part of our community and we aim to ensure that all children have an equal opportunity access and engage in the Early Years Curriculum. We work on belief that all children and their families have the right to be part of their local community and to be welcomed and included.
