KSW Engineering was formed in 1980, with a total commitment to providing high quality products to our broad customer base. Since then, through sound investment in people and plant, we have become a leading subcontractor to some of the world's leading manufacturing companies. To maintain and improve that position, our focus is to remain at the forefront of technological advances, whilst also anticipating and meeting the demands of the market.
KSW's Lathes can manufacture anything up to 2,000 mm (1,500 mm over slide) and up to 10,000 mm (4,400 mm ID) in length (dependent on component type). All machines are kitted with roller steady's which can handle up to 1,220 mm and a full range of anti-vibration bars up to 2,900 mm long. All of our machine tools are supported with Full (DNC Linked) offline *Programming Facilities.
KSW's Horizontal Boring machine tools can manufacture anything up to 15,000 KG's in weight and within a 3,000mm cube capacity. All Horizontal Borers have their own contouring heads and have a full range of outfacing bars available for internal deep bore profiling. All of our machine tools are supported with Full (DNC Linked) offline *Programming Facilities.
KSW's Weld Cladding facility comprises of 5 Fronius ETR cladding stations and 1 Fronius compact station, with these rigs, KSW can weld components up to 15,000 KG's in weight and 3,200mm long. KSW predominantly weld Inconel 625 on to various base materials, including F22, 4130, 8630 & F6NM, however we are always willing to meet the customers' requirements where possible.
