We are a small and friendly company based in Porlock Weir, Somerset. We have a tiny glass studio and a Gallery which sells our glassware, Dichroic jewellery and a whole host of other curious items in glass and otherwise. At Exmoor Glass we follow an ancient method of manufacture using the same tools and techniques as in Roman times.
We gather glass molten from a furnace then blow it and shape it by hand into a range of contemporary and traditional designs. Each piece we make is freely blown and hand fashioned to produce the finest, most distinctive and original glass. All finished items are hand engraved with our trademark signature, 'Exmoor'.

Popped into Porlock Weir on the way home from Cornwall. Lovely little independent shop with a charming owner.
We were pleasantly surprised to be told not to worry about the lack of face masks as we had left them in the car.
What a sad, sad little man the previous reviewer must be to stand outside and take pictures of the sign the owner had put up, a sign to encourage the public back into some sort of normality, then leave a review as he has without entering the shop or speaking to the owner at all.
The sign reads you can enter with out a mask if you wish, I’m sure wearing one if you so choose

A great little shop selling not just the glass made in the workshop a few yards away (if you are lucky the guy who makes the glass might be working when you visit and you can watch him work his magic) but also a wide range of other nick nacks and fun signs, bracelets, incense, stuff like that. friendly chatty staff too.
