Services
Lavenham Pre-school was established in 1995 from Lavenham Playgroup which started over 40 years ago. Lavenham Pre-school is a registered charity run by a Board of Trustees delivering quality education for pre-school children. The pre-school was originally called 'Lavenham Rugrats Playgroup' and was set up by a committee of local people and business persons.
Previously it had operated as an unincorporated charity. The Governing Document of the Pre-school is its Constitution, a link to which is included within Constitution and Policies. The Pre-school is managed by an elected Board of Trustees with a broad range of skills and experience, which meets regularly.
The Pre-school is normally open five days a week, offering breakfast club, morning and afternoon sessions, lunch club, an after-hours club (Little Owls) and all-day care. We cater for children from 2 years to school age, preparing them for entry into mainstream schooling. We are not currently offering the full range of our services such as breakfast club or Little Owls, but hope to do so if there is sufficient parental demand in the future.
