Sourdough is the 'King of breads'- being the oldest form of leavened bread, recorded over 5,000 years ago in ancient Egypt and using only naturally occurring wild yeasts and bacteria to form a 'starter', that is carefully kept and nurtured before being added to flour, water and salt, the product is 100% natural.
Bread from around the world made locally in Ingleton using traditional methods and original recipes. Seasons also produces a wide range of artisan speciality continental breads including focaccia (often flavoured with garlic, olives, cheese, tomato, onions etc), ciabatta, Jerusalem bagels - both plain and multiseed versions, French sticks and flat breads.
Even with our standard bread range when we do use commercial bakers' yeast we still apply our principles of patience and perfectionism. We use minimal amounts of yeast, we knock back the dough (twice in the case of our rolls) and we give our products time to prove. This ensures the perfect texture is achieved as well as great taste.
Puff pastry slices from old favourites such as cheese and onion, steak, or chicken and leek, to some more adventurous varieties such as sausage, potato and caramelised onion and garlic chilli chicken. Hot water crust pork pies in individual or family size (a very popular choice with Seasons clients).
I started Seasons in 2007 in Kirkby Lonsdale when I decided to turn an interest in bread making and baking into my business. My desire to use traditional, time served methods and unique family recipes plus a keen eye for perfection recipes enabled me to offer high quality products and success came quickly.

This place is a little gem and the staff are great and very helpful. The baked goods are both a feast to look at and eat. On more than one occasion during the past year, when I could, I would buy delicious cake presents for family members and dash around leaving presents on door steps...Coffee choux buns, rocky roads (yes I used the plural) and tarts are some of their amazing offers). However, my favourite stuff has to be their pies, pasties and sausage rolls.Garlic chicken, mozzarella and pepper pasties, to name a few, venison pie was a new.one to me but delicious, numerous sausage rolls and decent

Only just noticed this absolute gem 💎 of a place. The home made pastries are to die for. You must try the Cumberland sausage roll 😋. I havent tried all the cakes and brownies but am working my way through them all. They make hot food and sandwiches up to 2pm. The staff have been very friendly and talkative when being served. They are constantly cleaning and making the shop look the best it can. The presentation of the display is on point. Well done guys keep up the good work looking forward to my next visit.
