The business is headed by Rex Caplan, a very helpful and approachable landlord, supported by a friendly and reliable team who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise, having worked with students for many years.
We own all of the accommodation that we rent out, we are not managing agents. We have a real personal pride in maintaining high standards throughout our property portfolio and carry out many major refurbishments annually to ensure we keep our properties bang up to date with modern kitchens and bathrooms.

Services
When you move into a property you take meter readings for gas, electricity and water (where applicable). You then register all utilities in all your names, and give the companies the readings you have taken. We can help you with this information. For gas, electricity and water allow on average around 9 per week per person.

We lived in our Capland house for 2 years and cannot recommend them enough. Whenever we had a problem, Helen at the office would reply to our email or text really quickly and Barry would come over to sort it out. We loved our house too, really nice and so affordable. A great 2 years, thanks Capland!!

Capland has been the best student letting experience I could have hoped for. Having heard nothing but horror stories about student houses going into uni I've been so pleased with the quality of their properties and the standard of their customer service. The best student landlords in Sheffield! I am going into my third year and second house with them. I have never had any problems with the landlords and when there are issues with the house they are always very fast to respond. They have a fantastic system for house maintenance and often carry out repairs pre-emptively before a problem arises. The staff are always very polite and helpful and have ensured that it's always been a pleasure renting with Capland.

Plentiful kitchen space as well as lounging area.
Very quick response and attendance to issues.
Occasional pressure washer clean was a nice touch.
Deposit returned without any problems.
Upon moving in the mattress was in terrible condition - but Capland replaced it with a high quality unit within a week.

Superb landlord! We've had attractive and homely accommodation all year, with minimal problems. The issues we did have were sorted quickly, if not the same day where possible. They made the process of future house viewings easy for us by keeping us well informed unlike other student estate agent around the area. Very happy with the service all year!
