Avoid at all costs, staff are rude and unhelpful (even in replies to these reviews you can see how unprofessional they are). I've rented student accomodation in Sheffield for years now and this company is the worst of the lot. A few things i experienced while renting with them:
- severe black mould was just painted over by landlord (with regular paint)
- waste pipe came detached from outside wall and they tried to blame us for it because there was a grain of rice in the leaking puddle (sadly not kidding). They actually threatened my deposit over this even though it was absolutely not our responsibility

Mimicking other reviews - I have put off writing this to give them a fair shot, but I feel other students should know. Personally wish I'd have avoided. nothing more than money hungry landlords who falsely advertise student properties (ours had a pest problem, wAs not safe our private as we thought when we moved in and was dirty), and they are not cheap either. take advantage of students in the middle of a pandemic when people don't have jobs but their pockets are still being lined

ADVICE TO STUDENTS
AVOID IGLOO IF POSSIBLE

I have delayed writing this review until the dispute between myself and the agency was finalised but I urge students to avoid letting a house with Igloo if you can.
We had multiple, relatively small (still unacceptable) problems throughout our tenancy which I will list in a moment. These prompted me to read reviews and I saw lots of negative ones although it was too late by then. Our issues included:
- a leaking outside pipe
- Damp smell from day 1
- Damp causing mould on our belongings (which I was told could be resolved by opening a window

We moved into the property with various broken items (2 chairs snapped in half, 2 broken bed frames, 1 broken blind and a broken TV remote)! We had issues trying to get all these item replaced or fixed, with some items not even replaced/fixed. We then asked to stay in the property 1 week longer than expected due to the COVID situation. They took our WIFI away for the whole week, which we did not need only for social uses, but for work and educational purposes. We were also expected to buy the full rent for that week. When moving out of the property, we got charged for the oven!!! We cleaned the

To echo many others, AVOID IGLOO.
Igloo are slow, incompetent, callous and lie constantly about the state of their property.
Our problems were endless, but here's a few.
-Front door was the wrong size for the frame, and had to be rehung every two months
-Terrible damp, caused by them not turning on a integral dehumidifier that they neglected to tell us existed. Once we were told about it, it was wired in backwards and the wall switch had to be off to turn it on
-Claimed the flat had a deep clean, first thing I found when I moved in was a baggie with some weed left in it
