Kings Meadow Pre-School is a small, independent nursery based on the border of Kingston upon the Thames and New Malden. We have been providing quality care and education in a stable and caring environment since 2007. Our experienced and passionate team provide emotional and educational support for the needs of children from six months to five years in our nursery, which will allow each child to develop to their full potential.
We offer a large and wide range of exciting and stimulating activities throughout the day and our curriculum is child-centred based on learning through play. The Early Years Foundation Stage will be followed allowing children to develop at their own pace. We pride ourselves on being a quality establishment that immediately makes children and parents feel safe and at ease.

Services
You will often hear the phrase "Key Person" in the nursery. Whilst children are looked after in groups it is important that we meet the individual needs of your child and ensure your child has the opportunity to bond with a "special person" at nursery. It is also important that you have a specific person whom you get to know and are comfortable sharing information.
We believe that eating healthily is extremely important in the development of young children. A healthy and balanced diet of meals are prepared freshly each day by our qualified and skilled in-house chef. We cater for a wide range of special dietary, medical and religious requirements. We are a small, independent nursery based in the Kingston upon Thames area and we focus on each child's unique & individual needs.
Kings Meadow has a strict and clearly set safeguarding policy. CCTV cameras are in operation 24/7 to ensure the highest possible security for the children, parents and staff. Staff are not permitted to use their mobile phones whilst they are at work and all are kept securely in staff lockers. Before opening, the nursery is checked every day by management for potential safety issues.
We know childcare is costly, so we pride ourselves on keeping fees competitive and affordable. We offer all the government's funding available for 3- and 4 year-olds along with the extended 15 hours funding. We also offer qualifying 2-year-old funded places. Our fees are fully inclusive of snacks, lunch, tea, Pampers nappies, milk, formula milk and all outsourced activities.
We know childcare can be expensive, so we've put together a list of different government schemes below that may be able to help you with costs. We always try to keep our rates competitive as well. Early Education Entitlement is effectively free childcare or early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds funded by the government, with up to 15 or 30 hours per week during term time.

My daughter found nursery a tricky transition and the staff were so kind and patient with her throughout and she grew to love it. She would come home excited about the different activities she had been up to and tell me about all the staff that she now called her 'best friends'. She'll really miss them all and am grateful she had such a warm and caring start to nursery.
