A & E Asbestos
We have ongoing framework contract with 6 local authorities in the London area, ongoing contracts with blue chip hotels including two of the finest hotels in London. A&E Asbestos recently completed a contract in South London on a large industrial estate for a major property maintenance company which was completed within prescribed timescales for a cost of 800,000.

We have just completed a major brownfield contaminated soil contract at the Isle of Grain for National Grid. Why is asbestos dangerous? Asbestos still kills around 5000 workers each year, this is more than the number of people killed on the road. Around 20 tradesman die each week as a result of past exposure However, asbestos is not just a problem of the past.
Services
A&E Asbestos Ltd are an asbestos removal company based in Purfleet Essex and hold a full removal licence granted by the HSE.

We specialise in the safe removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials from various locations throughout the UK, from social housing contracts with various housing associations and councils, public buildings such as libraries, leisure centres, retail units, NHS buildings, clinics and hospitals, Police stations, Theatres, major hotel chains, luxury hotels, office blocks, commercial units to privately tenanted dwellings.
The solution is never always as straight forward as we would like thanks to the fact that there are three types of asbestos. From a Management Survey, we can establish and record the presence, possible nature and location of asbestos and include an assessment of its condition. Samples are not always taken, so the presence of asbestos is considered presumed unless.
HSE survey revealed the full extent of construction workers' exposure to the deadly material. The survey showed carpenters, painters and decorators could still come into contact with asbestos on average more than 100 times a year. One in seven believing that drinking a glass of water will help protect them from the deadly dust.
Whilst the word asbestos can conjure up all kinds of anxieties, the fact is that it may not be necessary for offending materials to be removed. When ACMS are located and found to be in good condition, i.e. not in a state of breaking down and releasing fibres into the air, we would suggest a monitoring programme rather than removal.
In circumstances where the removal of unstable asbestos is the only option, it is absolutely essential that the utmost care is taken to minimise risk of fibre dispersal into the air. This is a highly skilled process with clearly defined operating standards in accordance with CAR 2012 regulations.

Our trained specialists maintain the highest professional standards to ensure the efficient, effective removal and disposal of the offending material within specified timescales.

I am very pleased with the work undertaken by A&E Asbestos Ltd. and would not hesitate to recommend them. The team worked extremely hard in hot weather to remove my garage and lean-to (which was also engulfed in thick ivy).
The whole process from the quote to the bill was very professional. Everyone involved turned up on time, the office kept me informed every step of the way and provided me with the names of the men working at my property.
My garden was left clean and tidy and I could not have wished for a better service.
As soon as the job was completed I was sent a Hazardous Waste Consignment

I hired A & E asbestos to remove the ceiling in the garage of the house that my wife and I had purchased, it had been idetified in an asbestos survey that was carried out before we bought the house as asbestos insulation board which I was told was a dangerous material.
A manager from A&E visited our house & explained the whole process to me & my wife then a couple of weeks later a team from A&E came to our house & sheeted up our garage & removed the asbestos ceiling.
Great service
