I must say that I used this cafe a lot in the past until recently when I found a piece of reused bacon, which was cut and had beans on the underside, on my fresh plate of food! Not good when we are in times of contamination. Was even less impressed with the 10 minute wait for someone to discuss this and the 50% discount offered because I had nibbled a corner or a hash brown! Last time I’ll be visiting that establishment! Just waiting for the Covid results!!!

Large and upmarket farm shop just off A33 on Berkshire / Hampshire border. Good sized gravel car park with no drainage problems. Shop is huge with a large selection of food goods. Large cafe serving a limited of cooked and bakery products. Try not to get a seat near to the patio in winter months as it's cold when it's open. Although our drinks arrived early, we waited a long time for our food. Centre doesn't take cash and nearly all of staff wearing masks as were customers so it was pretty Covid safe. Probably the best farm shop in southern mid Berkshire.

Went today the burgers were really lovely, attentive staff, only downside is that it was cold and they only had 2 logs on the fire, when the doors are open as people ate coming in and out all the time, that… fire needs to be fully loaded. Would definitely visit again but would request to be seated near fire and outside.patio heaters would be a good investment 👍

Had breakfast yesterday, they messed up my order then tried to blame me in saying I had ordered it wrong, then they kept coming back to check the order but still got it wrong!! Also all the other meals didn't arrive at the same time, we chased one and it was just sat on the side whilst staff were chatting. Additionally they bought two coffees over but didn't know which was which and which coffee was the dairy free one, these are basics!! Service was not good at all.

Visited this morning for breakfast. Massive let down. I ordered 2 poached eggs and tomatoes. The food arrived about 30 minutes later, not an issue as was really busy. I get it. No cutlery when our breakfast… arrived and I was given the tiniest of tiniest eggs I’ve ever seen on a even smaller piece of toast and 1/2 a tomato. We got the cutlery about 4/5 minutes later. I didn’t order toast, but got it. The coffee turned up after I had finished my food. The shocker was the bill. I was charged £8.00 for two tiny eggs and .75p for 1/2 a tomato. I’m sorry, that is disgusting

This place has had a full refurbishment recently. Really nice food but very overpriced. For example a large breakfast is nearly £20. For a cafe that's ridiculous. We sat outside but cut our visit short due to a wasp problem. I think they have tried to solve this with various traps for them but they are literally hundreds of them buzzing around being a pest to guests. Shame because its a really nice setting but overpriced and I would sit indoors to hide from the wasps.

A very well managed outlet that offers a variety of product from other suppliers and producers that are not strictly ‘Farm’ product.
The terraced coffee shop and restaurant are very welcoming and provide efficient service and good selection of items from the menu.
There’s an ample free parking at the site and a wide selection of bedding plants on display. The prices are a bit steeper than what you would pay at a garden centre in Town.
