I contacted Stratton Thorpe and as a first time buyer they were very helpful and gave me all the detail I needed, as well as assurances of what they could do. However, although I did eventually go with someone else, I was minutes away from giving them the go ahead, and only didnt because the alternative broker had been recommended by several friends & family and the fees were less. That said, I couldn't fault their helpfulness and service to me over the time I did speak to them

We worked with Pete to get a mortgage for our first home, and the required insurances. As first time buyers were really green and needed a lot of guidance. Pete was fantastic. Always had time for us and our questions, incredibly knowledgeable (and ready to admit when he needed to do research), really friendly and genuinely a joy to work with. Pete has been absolutely fantastic through the whole process of us buying our first house.
