After breaking away from the largest catering butchers in britain walton meats was formed 30 years ago. Sinse then we have developed into not just a local high street butcher producing the very best produce from the very best product but also into a recognised quality catering butchers serving local pubs, restaurants, schools, retirement homes, golf clubs and film crews; producing over five tonnes of meat a week.
Here at Walton Meats we believe that great Beef is a result of selective breeding, dedicated rearing & expert maturation. We believe in British Beef, the cold drizzly climate and lush green grass gives animals the best possible start. Over the years we have developed relationships with our supply farmers which ensure we always have great beef to put on your menu.

Good Pork comes as a result of good farming conditions skilled breeding & finishing and attention to detail at each stage. We only work with farmers who have the same exacting standards as we do so you can order from us in complete confidence.
Fresh, farm-assured chicken means the very best flavour and texture, every time. And with strict welfare standards in place, you know your food comes from a source you can trust. From Suffolk duck to Scottish venison, we source the finest poultry and game from across the country. Goosnargh is found near Preston, on the edge of the picturesque Ribble Valley in Lancashire.
If you want high specification outdoor reared pork combined with your own selection of herbs & spices we will work with you. Once approved we then train all our production staff on your recipe so that you can relax in the knowledge that your sausage will be unique to you and will always be produced the way in which you want it.

Very lucky this is our local butchers. We ordered a Christmas box which was full of high quality meats. The turkey & ham was the best we have had. The queue was down the road which shows how popular this place is. Always get the sausage meat from here & make our own sausage rolls, which taste amazing! Staff always friendly, quick to serve and handle the meat with good hygiene and care. Thank you, keep it up!

Got some meats from here the other day and was very disappointed with the quality, when I mentioned to the butcher about the quality of the meat he blantanly ignored me, all I was trying to do was give some feed back on the items that I had bought, anyway there’s a better butcher just down the road from this one miles better and know how to talk to people.

We started to get meat deliveries from Walton Meats during this lockdown and are really impressed with the quality of everything we have had. The bacon is so much better than anything we have had anywhere else. It doesn’t shrivel up to nothing in the pan! Delicious lamb steaks, great burgers, really lean beef, amazing range of tasty sausages. Literally everything has been amazing. We never want to buy meat at the supermarket again and really hope the home delivery service will continue when life returns to normal.
