John and Heather Smith were from a farming background and Heather had experience from a small holiday park over in Lancashire. Looking for a new challenge and with Heather as the driving force, they sold up in 2004 and purchased Langcliffe Park to establish "a place we would like to visit ourselves, in a beautiful area".
From our discussions with the owners who have already purchased Holiday Homes at Langcliffe, they see it as an escape, a retreat. Whether a quick weekend trip or a long summer holiday, the break from the norm is priceless and there is an immediate feeling of calm. Once balance has been re-established, it's then time for adventure.
We're sure you'll have lots of questions for us which we are always happy to answer, but below you'll find some of the most commonly asked questions from prospective Holiday Home owners. Your holiday home cannot be let out, however family members can use it with your permission and we should be made aware via registration at the office.
Langcliffe Park is located just outside the town of Settle. The park is 13 acres. We strive to ensure that all our visitors can enjoy the accommodation, facilities and surroundings within the park. Our aim is to help you in any way that we can to enjoy your stay. We would be delighted to assist with you during your stay or while planning your visit should you require so.
Below you will find details about our current holiday homes available to buy at Langcliffe Park. Comfortable and quiet. Access to some easy and some challenging walks in lovely countryside. A good base for the western moors with about an hour's drive to the East moors so quite convenient for travel. Some very narrow roads which sat Nav insists on using which might be less miles but takes twice as long to navigate. Not far outside of Settle which has everything from supermarket to coffee shops. Plus of course the chance to do the Settle to Carlisle train trip over the Ribble viaduct.

Lovely clean site. Great walks direct from the site. Only issue is that they don't control the noise. There were groups making noise until 12.30. I understand its not the sites fault but they need to emphasise the quiet time by telling people on booking, on checking in and perhaps having sites made and put up around the site. (There are enough signs around saying no fires!)No point just putting it on the site rules as not many people actually read them!

We have just got back after staying here for 3 nights with our caravan. Could not fault the site at all, its beautiful. Great for all ages and great for dogs too. Dave the warden could not do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. He took the time to help you on the pitch, tell you all about the site and where the amenities were, we have never had this on any other site before. The site & amenities were spotless, only 20 min walk into settle and a lovely town this was. We can't wait to go back.

This is a great campsite 😊 very well maintained and fabulously run by all the very helpful staff !! It's situated in a lovely quiet rural area & on the edge of the beautiful town of Settle. It has everything that you should need... toilets, showers and a laundry room and all immaculately clean...due to Covid they have hand sanitizer outside every comuniual area. The reception has plenty of information on the surrounding area...including a selection of walks.
Keeps your eye out for the very friendly 🐈 😊.
