Services
Certainfil Cavity Insulation Limited uses a high grade silver graphite expanded polystyrene bonded bead (EPS) system of installation. Silver graphite bead is typically 20% more effective at reducing heat loss than the older "white" bead that may also be offered by other installers.
Beads arrive at your home already manufactured to the density required by the Agrement Board and they are simply blown into the wall from the truck and sprayed with an adhesive so that they form a bonded mass.Because installation of cavity wall insulation is done externally there is no need for anyone to be at home during the installation which is usually completed in one day.

Current building control regulations require approximately 300 mm (12 inches) of insulation to be installed to roofspace areas. Most properties will have some insulation installed to their roofspace (often 100 mm) and therefore homeowners often think they are adequately insulated.

After 1934 houses where built with empty cavity walls, these cavities range traditionally from 50mm to 75mm wide. The vast majority of this house type have had insulation installed in the cavity over the last 40 years. Some builders started to built in a solid board around 1985 onwards This board was approx 30mm and fitted against the inner leaf of the cavity, at this time cavities increased from 75mm to 100mm.
Using specialist tools and machinery, Certainfil Insulation can remove defective cavity wall insulation, causing little disturbance to the building or the inhabitants of the home. Certainfil Insulation can undetake the extraction of Rockwool, White wool, foam and bead insulation products from the cavity walls of domestic houses or apartments.

I enquired about getting cavity wall insulation through their contact page. I received a call on 12th Feb 21, I think he said his name was John. He told me that he had another appointment in glengormley on 15th Feb and that he would call around to see me after it, I write this review on Sunday 28th Feb, I'm still waiting! Totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

1st class and efficient service from start to finish for loft insulation. Ian called the same day I contacted him to check the loft. Fairly soon after this I got a call with the start date. The 2 boys who fitted the insulation where prompt, polite and helpful. Next day the vents were fitted on the roof. Again the fitter was prompt and polite even though I didnt hear him knocking the door. My apologies lol. Can't recommend this Company highly enough.

I couldn't recommend this service enough. The lads who installed my cavity wall insulation had to climb up into my loft to inject it. They were very courteous and tidy given the circumstances and did an A* service. It's like a different house now. Many thanks for a great job!

From a hoody, jeans and blanket in the evening to wondering around in just the underwear. The difference a few hours with Certainfil makes to your life. If you have an unfilled Cavity, get Certainfil to fill it. Amazing service from start to finish. Clean, tidy, professional and friendly. My only problem is I wish I had done it sooner. Thanks Certainfil, you have saved me £££££ on heating
