The North Riding Hotel, originally built in the 1850's, is a family run Public House/Hotel on the quieter side of Scarborough, two minutes from the North Bay beach and Peasholm Park and ten minutes from the town centre. Our public bar has a large screen TV for sport, a pool table, a jukebox and a quiz machine.
Wi-Fi access is also possible in the public bar. We are big fans of Yorkshire Cricket Club and our collection of autographed cricket memorabilia adorns on the walls. In contrast, our lounge bar is the total opposite in character and features nothing but conversation! We have restored the lounge to it's original features including the reintroduction of a solid fuel fireplace and also an oak bar.

Services
We have installed a 2-barrel plant into the cellars of the North Riding for producing beers just for the pub (and occasional beer festivals). We are currently brewing once a week but are going to increase to twice a week in the very near future. The brew length is actually 7 firkins due to the size of the kettle we use.

Amazing beer is a understatement.
The infamous naughty tower beer list is not to be missed, various brewers best brews end up here thanks to the local beer lord (the world of ales answer too Star Lord). Whether your CAMRA guide enthusiasts or a lover of liquid libations. You can find a choice of drinks to suit all and excellent customer service. There are bottles of locally made North Riding brews for you take home. I recommend the NRB Jamaican rum stout, its like a shot of tasty woods rum in a pint of delicious stout.
