The epitome of pampering with our curl specialist, Tori. Tori will have a full consultation with you about your curls needs. She will then cut your hair dry, using the curl by curl method. Please ensure you come to your appointment with clean, dry hair in its natural state. This can be with or without product.
This service is recommended for all clients at the start of their curl journey. You will have an in-depth consultation with Tori, our curl specialist, about your curl desires, previous experiences, time and lifestyle commitments to your curls. We will cut your hair in a curl by curl fashion. Then cleanse and apply products at the basin.
Perfect as a stand alone treatment and introduction to KeraStraight super healthy hair, or can be added to a cut and finish service. Please select this before your finishing service. I had my first curly hair cut with Tori today. She is calm and professional and without a doubt the most knowledgeable and engaged hairdresser I have ever visited.

Tori did an amazing job with my wild curly hair. I went in looking really frizzy and came out looking really curly. Tori knew exactly what to do as I had no clue. Haha. She layered my hair on top and styled it and it brought out the curls beautifully. I really love my new hair cut. My hair looks so much healthier, curlier and happier since and is much more manageable. I think Tori has a gift for cutting curly hair for sure.

This was my fourth visit with Tori and without a doubt is one of the most knowledgeable hairdressers I’ve ever met, she is professional with out being standoffish, any questions are answered and advise given, nothing is too much trouble.Tori is always smiling and happy, she also makes the experience an enjoyable one. I can honestly say I will not be using anybody else for my hair. Long may she continue her amazing journey as she continues to learn and grow. First class service every time.

Whilst it may feel the Hair Lounge is not in the centre of town. Its locality affords ample parking for abled and disabled customers. On entry to the main building there is adequate Covid sanitation measures as well as on entry to The Hair Lounge. The team of two are extremely friendly, and understand and accommodate our requirements. It is a first class service. We like visiting The Hair lounge for their professionalism. There is no other business we have used in North Devon that provides such a unique customer service consecutively and maintain high standards in every facet.

Another great visit to Tori. I've not been well but rather than letting me wallow, we chatted and put the world to rights. Really cheered me up. Finding a hairdresser who knows curly hair needs is like finding a unicorn! Tori and her magic fingers certainly know their way around curly locks; I now have a short style I can easily manage. The springs are there but the knots and tangles aren’t. Thanks Tori, see you in a few weeks (icy moorland roads permitting!)

Booked a curly cut here while I was travelling through Devon and I had quite a drastic cut with a lot taken off. I was nervous before going but the environment was so welcoming and friendly. Tori did such a great job and I left feeling really pampered and love my new hair. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again if I'm in the area. A wonderful curly cut :)

Tori is a fantastic hairdresser who always knows exactly what my hair needs and what looks good! My hair has never been in such good condition and I always feel at ease when I go in as she is so easy to chat to and is so good at knowing what to recommend. She is a pro with my frizzy curly hair and keeping it looking natural but vibrant and healthy. Highly recommend!
