Situated in the most historic street in Penzance, Chapel Street, full of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Set back from the main street in our own secluded courtyard, full of fairy lights and palm trees, a three minute walk to the sea. We are a small family run restaurant, owners, chefs and husband and wife team Kim and Gary took over on Valentines Day 2017.
We have kept a small very close-knit team for most of our time here. We like to keep our menu ever changing so we can keep up with seasonal changes, we also like to only use local suppliers and ingredients.

Absolutely scrumptious meal! We had starters, lunch and desserts and if felt like each dish was better than the last.
The service was great and everyone was friendly. It’s also dog-friendly which is a huge bonus, and our pup even got some treats.
Just lovely. Definitely worth trying. Best restaurant in Penzance!

Fantastic little restaurant in Penzance guaranteed to give you a lovely meal. Service was good and all staff polite, friendly and welcoming.
Food quality and presentation were very good from appetiser to desert! Reasonably priced too. For 2 people each having an appetiser, starter, main, desert, coffee and 2 cocktails (each) a very reasonable £70 per head. Yes, we’re were stuffed and nearly needed rolling out afterwards!
Cocktails were tasty if a tiny bit inconsistent depending on who made them (but always yummy).
Would highly recommend the mackerel pate and monkfish coconut curry.

Although we are residents of Penzance this was our first visit. The staff were friendly and professional. The safe system they have set up against COVID is really good. The interior of the restaurant is lovely… and classy. The food was delicious and of high quality. Would definitely recommend to others and we will return . Booking on line system easy to use. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The food was excellent - particularly the squid. We found the decor and service lacking, but appreciate that it's busy and stressful times for the hospitality industry at the moment! £30 deposit to reserve a table seemed unusual, particularly as it wasn't even half full the night we went. But otherwise a lovely meal - don't miss the truffle butter!

This is the real thing. This is what a steakhouse should be like. I love steaks and I have been to many steakhouses. This one is very authentic. You have a wide variety of options to make your own steak: Rump, sirloin, fillets, garlic, pepper, cheese...And the best part was the way they cook. They must followed the traditional way of grilling and you can find the difference. The beautiful rosary colour, the slightly smoked smell, the tender and juicy texture... Everything was done properly. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.
