Established in 1993 by David and Adele Gallagher and the support of their families, with the aim of becoming the publics first choice by maintaining a personal caring approach to all families of the bereaved so that they endeavoured to recommend and return to the business.
David Gallagher had 4 years previous experience before starting the business and became a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, passing the Diploma in Funeral Directing set down by them in 1992.The family business also employ very carefully chosen members of staff who have the same care, respect and understanding of the bereaved and are an asset to the business.

Our fleet consists of a Mercedes Benz E250 hearse which would convey your loved one on the day of the funeral. Mourners may travel in the comfort of our matching limousines which seat up to 6 passengers in a respectful and dignified manner from the family home or our chapel of rest. Our limousines allow social distancing from our chauffeur and both are fitted with perspex screens your safety.
2021 sees a new name and branding in process for the company as Gallagher Family Funeral Directors, with the introduction of another family member, Sam Gallagher. The property was a former working farm dating back to 1843 and proved to be the ideal premises. Following extensive refurbishment, the property now consists of a service chapel, comfortable arranging rooms and offices.
