We are an independent funeral directors offering Burley in Wharfedale, Ilkley, Leeds and Barnsley. We are here to provide a high quality service when in need, but at costs we consider as more affordable. As a small firm, we can provide a more unique, personal service. Stephen and Susanne have a wide range of experience in dealing with the many different types of funeral services available.
We believe in giving you freedom and choice. You can plan a funeral however you like. You may wish to stick with tradition and opt for the full, traditional funeral service. You may wish to have a simple, low key funeral where the ceremony is run by family members and friends. You may wish to have a funeral planned as a religious, semi-religious way or as a celebration of life.
My name is Susanne and I have been working with Stephen at White Rose Funeral Service from the very first day of opening in Burley in Wharfedale. I oversee the day to day operations of both Burley and Barnsley Funeral Homes. I am the person who you will first speak to when you call. If you need our services I am on hand 24 hours a day.

White Rose Funeral Service took care of my late fathers funeral recently, I would 100% highly recommend Stephen and Susanne for all that they did for us. We met with Stephen to go through all the funeral plans and he was extremely patient and helpful with any questions we had. Susanne was taking the funeral on the day and put me at ease straight away letting me know things as they unfolded. White Rose recommended Jane, a celebrant who talked about my fathers life who also would do anything to help us. She put together a lovely speech and emailed back and forth to make sure it was what we wanted

My son passed away in sunderland and we live in pateley bridge we tried a few funeral homes but they all wanted paying up front befor they would help us,but white rose when we rang them where so helpfull they arranged everything even going all the way to sunderland to collect him,they where so helpfull and like councelers could not of asked for more from them ,would highly recomend stephen and suzanne if any one neads a funeral directors who think of you and not the money thank you white rose for all you have done
