When you suffer a bereavement, a funeral for a member of your family is the most difficult day of your life. Everything your family and friends thought about a loved one is expressed on that day. When someone dies it comes as a great shock. Sometimes the death may be expected, but nothing prepares you for the emotional shock of losing someone close.
The hearse for the funeral serice, with chauffeur and sufficient bearers, is also an essential part of our service to you, especially when your family's request is to go into church or place of worship. You may wish the bearers to be family members. Limousines are charged for separately. This ensures that the family is not charged for something they may not need or want.
Green/Woodland burial offers a natural form of burial. This can provide important environmental benefits and give a true sense of creating life from death. In recognition of public concern for environmental matters many cemeteries up and down the country are now able to offer this alternative to traditional practices of burial and cremation.

It feels strange to write a review on a funeral directors but we have been so pleased with the service received it felt needed. We are not local to Leeds but came across Thomasons name in a leaflet provided by the bervement team in York Hospital. Having had a more negative experience a few years ago with our local director I was looking further afield. I have learnt over time that funeral costs vary significantly from one place to another. I called around a few companies and felt overwhelmed with the 'extras' that was being charged for example extra for dressing or collection of loved one from

A totally gutted lost my partner of my of21 years mother of my kids ,every thing was great very professional, but when ashes came back in a 5 kg 2 foot tube I was floored assumed she would be in an urn ,as it was never mentioned I wanted to put her with our still born babies ,but can’t even look at it can’t put her at lawnswood in a tube
Very upset should of been told I’ve never been point on a funeral expected urn but il repeat never mentioned the cost is immaterial sorry for long rant but more than gutted

Due to a recent bereavement I had the good fortune to be directed to this company. The personnel here are truly outstanding from the receptionist to the hearse driver and the wonderful lady called Thea a total professional in every concept. I was well looked after. During such a chaotic time I was contacted and well informed I truly can't thank them enough. I would like to wish them all the best for the future.
