We are an asset and fund management business based in Altrincham with assets under management across the UK. We currently manage commercial and residential property. Spectrum was established in 2009. The key members of the Spectrum team have been together since 2005 and have a wide range of experience across the property and finance sectors and have professional qualifications in surveying and banking.
Services
Peter is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, having qualified in 1992. He joined the Associated British Ports in 1992 after graduating from the University of Glamorgan with an Honours Degree in Urban Estate Management and moved from Cardiff to Manchester in 1994 to join Chesterton International Property Consultants in their Asset Management Department with responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 400 million of assets.
Spectrum provides Clients with all advice and assistance required in connection with the management of their properties. General rent review policy or policies for the Property to maximise reversion where possible. Supplying analysis of past & future rental & capital value growth, & performance & recommendations for policy changes to achieve maximizing such growth & performance generally.
The Alpha Fund was established in 2005 as a Joint Venture with Royal Bank of Scotland and 18 private investors. The Fund had a tax efficient Jersey Unit Trust/UK Limited Partnership structure which held 23 properties across a range of sub sectors including food stores, leisure schemes, offices, high street shops and industrial units.
After 4 months winter training, covering over 470 miles, our joint Managing Director Peter Macfarlane completed the 2014 Virgin London Marathon in a PB of 4:18 and 23 seconds. Raising over 2200 for the charity Sense. A really delighted Peter confirmed that it is not just his first marathon, but his only marathon.
We believe that future success will be dependent on the creation of sustainable centres, initiatives and business that will be of lasting benefit to society. Maintaining local identity is pivotal to our plans. This could be through the use of materials or symbols that define the area, or the reinforcement of local provisions and pastimes.
