Penistone Pine & Antiques is a family run business that have been trading for over 30 years out of the old railway buildings within Penistone Railway Station. We aim to provide a quality, reliable and friendly service to customers from Yorkshire and its surrounding areas. The business was created out of the love of antique furniture and the enjoyment from working with quality, well made Victorian and farmhouse style furniture and doors.
New furniture just isn't made the same any more and we want to ensure people have a place to come when they need that something special. We also repair, modify and create pieces of furniture - all using quality reclaimed antique timber. It is impossible to get the same result from new and green timber - the wood has to age to look the way it does naturally.

Services
The can be supplied stripped, ready waxed or waxed to your requirements or even painted should you require. We supply farmhouse tables, writing desks, workstations and any other style you may require. Give us a call and tell us what you need. Most are dated from the 1920s and earlier. They are stripped, sanded and ready for the finish of your choice or you can have them without wax if you wish to finish with your own wax or paint.
If you have been searching high and low for a certain piece of furniture but cannot find it anywhere or the items you do find are ridiculously expensive maybe we can help. We have relationships with a wide network of dealers, traders and house clearance specialists and we can lay our hands on almost anything.
Beautifully crafted Captains Chairs to add that something extra around your dinner table or in the study. We have had multiple different types and styles in the shop and what we have available at the time is purely dependant upon what stock we manage to get in. If you are looking for a particular style please let us know and we will do our best to source what you are looking for.
If you ever need a sit down Penistone Pine is the place to be. We always have 20-30 different chairs in the shop and probably hundreds more in the warehouse so anything you are after we can pretty much provide. If our extensive range isn't enough, as always, let us know what you require and we will do our best to source it for you.
The blanket boxes we have in stock most regularly are Victorian from the 1920s or even earlier. These are great for again use as a blanket box or maybe an alternate use such as a hallway shoe box or toy box. They are great for making areas of your home look clean and tidy and can often double up as a seat.
