Excellent Sunday lunch. Thankfully the rain didn’t arrive and we ate outside, treated to a display by the local red kites too! The Sunday roast chicken was superb, as was the chocolate mousse dessert and the friendly service. Made me think how average most pub roasts are. Pre-arranged viewing of the guinea pigs afterwards is always a treat but meeting the amazing turkeys may have changed Christmas dinner plans!

Where do I start? This place is so quaint and cute with a wonderful sitting in the courtyard, it feels like my backyard. The foods presentation is very appealing to the eyes. Most of all, the food tastes incredible. This is my second visit from the US, I have to say, Luscombes can be in the same class with all 5 stars restaurants in Los Angeles. The services were so tentative and friendly from the young staff. The chef features whatever the fresh ingredients for the day so no dishes will be repeated. Don't skip the desserts. That will be a big mistake. Trust me.

A great little pub just outside of Henley although the food was average and the service was attentive but a little clumsy. The waitresses kept dropping the cutlery as they walked passed my table. I was dining alone and was given a table right by the bar where I could see all the waiters stopping and looking at there phones.

Came here last week on a Monday night. It was quiet but it meant we had good and attentive service. This is a lovely and well presented pub, with white tablecloths on the wooden tables and serving restaurant food rather than pub grub. We started with the soufflé which was only lukewarm but maybe it was supposed to be like that. The chicken pate was much preferable. Next I had the beef which came with chips, salad and bearnaise. It was very well seasoned and beautifully plated. The other half had the veal chop which he enjoyed. We finished with some rather delicious ice cream. A great experience

Superb food and a great atmosphere. We had a wonderful anniversary meal here. Expensive but worth it.
I would give 5 Stars but on a recent bike ride we stopped there with my 5 year old at 4pm for some refreshments. Great that it was open and well kept beer and apple juice for the 5 year old. Problem was no snacks- no crisps,no nuts, nothing!. Obviously a bit posh for these which is a shame considering its location and the great pub it used to be.
Secondly no soap in the the "loos" and one of the dispensers was broken. A bit strange for such an expensive establishment.

Absolutely love love love this place! The cozy and lovely atmosphere inside and out, incredible food, beyond friendly staff, and appropriate prices to match make it a favorite place for me to visit. The chef, Steve, has a seasonal menu that always impresses. I cannot recommend the Sunday roast enough as it comes with a wide variety of tasty sides, and his delicious starters and desserts make it a filling and memorable dining experience.
