Unicom Property

Good apartments they've got but I think they are more interested in letting their apartment than making its tenants comfortable.
I got into my apartment and the backyard was so messed up with rubbish probably packed out of the building from the previous occupants. The supposed garden is so bushy and no help to get it cleared. The wastebin is filled with rubbish that are not properly disposed into the right bin.

Had an appointment for a house viewing, arrived ten minutes early in the pouring rain to be told that the guy would be five minutes late - fine, things happen, however half an hour later still no sign after repeated calls to the letters and promises of two minutes.
Once I was so soaked that I felt water filtering through my socks i walked to get the bus, to receive a phone call that started with ''Where are you! I'm waiting for you!''.
Now, regardless of the lack of hello, apology or a shred of embarrassment, the audacity required to say that HE was waiting for ME was too much to bear. Receptionist

Unicom: for a run down property with an unprofessional landlord who largely ignores tenant legal protections.
I cannot express how awful my experience of renting a Unicom flat was.
The house was in poor condition when I moved in. I decorated it the best I could to make it homely, and tried to make it work. At first I enjoyed living there. However, it wasn't long before the problems arose.
The Unicom landlord began to regularly let himself into the property without giving me any prior notice. This sounds fabricated but I genuinely recall the fright of waking up in bed one the morning with jolt

5 stars due to Alex who works at unicom, has gone the extra mile with collecting my parcel and returning it to a drop off point for me since I’m no longer in hull. Has just saved me 80 quid, legend!

Firstly, i'm posting this review due to the fake misleading reviews left on here. Some of the reviews are either left by the employees or people related to employees "Claiming" to be students. I have gotten myself into signing a house with this company due to their trickery so I felt it was only right for me to inform people to not fall for these fake reviews. (Note to the company: these reviews have been reported to google and will most likely be taken down in due time)

Lived with them for 2 years in 2 x 4 bed houses @ Chesnut Ave and Ryde Street- We had issues/repairs but to be fair to them they always came round and resolved it. A lot of the houses are cheaper as they are slightly older but it depends what you want and what budget you have. Overall would recommend them.

As a mature student I was in need of a quality abode in Hull, much like a good mature cheese craves for the correct conditions to be stored in to ensure its longevity and distinct flavour.
I happened across Unicom much by chance whilst visiting a local sandwich shop opposite. I popped in and spoke to a nice young man who introduced himself as Simon. I was pretty sure I’d seen him on Grindr before but he repeatedly assured me that gentlemen often stole his photo and it was an unfortunate downside of being so attractive. In fact, he told me this eight time in the space of as many minutes.

Positive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Houses are priced very reasonably - they have some new houses which are more expensive but some decent standard houses for under £80 pw if you just want good student accommodation and nothing fancy. Always fixed jobs when reported.

My self and the lads have been with Unicom for the last 2 years and have just resigned for next acc too. Staff are very nice and cant do enough for you. Repairs are great, we have had a couple over the period of being in this house and they have been fixed on the day reported.
