Services
In 2019 we were listed in the famous 'Top 100 sites guide' in Practical Motorhome magazine and accredited in the silver green tourism awards. We have a range of facilities available for our customers*** to ensure a pleasant stay, all detailed below and operate a continuous improvement plan to ensure that they are always being bettered over time.
Our caravan holiday homes offer great value self-catering accommodation close to Edinburgh. Your holiday dates need to work around your schedule which is why we offer you flexibility to check in any day of the week. Choose a four or six berth option depending on your needs. All have an en suite toilet in the master bedroom and the four berth features a full sized bath, making holidays with young children a breeze.
Our touring pitches are very well appointed, drained, flat and spacious. You can easily fit most units on our hard standing pitches including fifth wheels and the saying "you can get a bus in there!" would not be untrue! You have the option of our generously sized hard standing pitches constructed with compacted gravel or a large grass pitch.
Tastefully designed and with a few special touches, our self catering lodges are perfect for a luxury stay in Scotland's central belt. Each lodge provides a modern open plan living space with well equipped kitchen, dining and seating area. This opens out onto a decked balcony with views of the park.
We welcome tents and very small campers on any of our grass pitches, all you need to do is select the one that suits your needs best. Our grass pitches are 10m x 8 m and must fit your tent and car beside it. If you cannot fit your car in the space provided you will not be allowed to stay if there is a risk of you breaching the safe distance between other campers.

Having booked and paid for an Xmas break at this site my partner and I have unfortunately just tested positive for covid .
We immediately rang the site office not to ask for a refund but to explain our dilemma and ask if it were possible to ammend the booking for a future stay possibly in March , the member of staff we spoke to was of no help whatsoever bordering on rude.
Very disappointed , won't be staying here ever nor recommending to others.......

My friends and I stayed here at the weekend as a birthday treat from my husband and we were lucky enough to stay in the Almond Lodge. It was absolutely beautiful and stunning and just the place to… relax and unwind. The lodge was spotless and we loved staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hidden treasure. Close to links to Glasgow and Edinburgh and also local activities and eateries nearby worth visiting. Thanks for making our weekend perfect and thank you all for a

Just spent three nights at linwater and it was my first time camping was only ment to stay two night but found it that nice and friendly decided to stay another night . From the moment we arrived to when we… left the staff on site were so helpful and friendly and the facilities on site were spotlessly clean and second to none we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back in April.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious pitches. Extremely neat. Clean showers.
The best for me was that there was no club house just a basic playground for the kids. My 3 & 6 year old had fun walking across the sheep field to get to the river where we spent time collecting stones and skipping them across the water.
We'll certainly be going back.

Beautiful campsite, with a mix of static caravans, lodges, touring caravans and tents. Very rural setting and very well spaced pitches. Super friendly staff, with a reasonably well kitted, and very reasonably priced on site shop.
Grass is immaculate, as is the rest of the site, easy walks nearby and only 15 minutes drive to the the Ingliston park and ride into Edinburgh. The static caravan we were in was spotless, and almost seemed new. Lots of space, good facilities and lovely homely touches like pictures and ornaments.
Would definitely visit again in this area.

Large open pitches. Site enclosed with hedge rows and trees. Nice peaceful well kept site. Staff always on hand. Small park for younger kids. Access to local footpaths for walks/cycles direct from site. Best feature is the "camp kitchen" full indoor kitchen facilities with dishwasher and tables, never seen this anywhere else, fantastic idea.
