Panificio Italiano is an independent bakery in Iver, Buckinghamshire owned by Sicilian businessman & artisan baker Piero Scacco. Piero's knowledge of the baking industry spans back over six decades. Panificio Italiano is a new state-of-the-art purpose-built automated bakery (due for completion in 2019).

The current investment is approximately 20million to date. This includes six production lines offering extensive bespoke and artisan lines over 45,000 sq. Panificio Italiano currently has the capability to produce approximately 280,000 products daily, with plenty of room for growth and development.

In 1964 Piero opened his first bakery shop in Tooting Bec. Soon after he was approached by several of the major retailers, which lead him to move his business to a bigger site in Wembley.
We offer an extensive range of rolls including white, brown, malted, seeded, cobs, plaits, fingers, knots and Kaiser rolls. We are able to supply these in all sorts of shapes and sizes allowing you to choose exciting and innovative rolls that are right for you. The methods used to produce these rolls can include long-fermented processes which further improve flavour and appearance.
We offer a wide variety of machined and handcrafted shaped baguettes, subs and paninis. Our large selection can be made using both modern and traditional methods with a variety of flours such as French, wholemeal, malted, rye and unbleached flour. Added ingredients (inclusions) can be included in the dough or used as toppings to enhance the product's appearance.
These are our speciality breads that are handcrafted using authentic Italian recipes, which can include extra-virgin olive oil for a traditional flavour and texture. Our ciabatta, focaccia and paninis, are all made using traditional 24-hour bulk-fermented doughs (sponge), which ensure the finished products are light and airy, traditional in flavour and texture and deliver a perfect culinary experience.
This delicious bread is of French origin and is enhanced and enriched with egg and butter to make it extra light and fluffy and to give it a distinctive dark golden crust. Brioche is perfect for burger buns or a luxurious hot dog. Our brioche is made in the traditional manner which ensures the finished products are light and airy.
