We have our own car park on site and are pleased to run our own dedicated out of hours service for the benefit of our clients. Conveniently located near the Green and Crammer in the beautiful market town of Devizes, Estcourt Vets is the original vets in the area and has been serving the community for over one hundred years. We are an independent veterinary practice with excellent facilities and a caring side.

In those days the veterinary Surgeon was mainly dealing with farm animals and in particular horses. What is now our Hospital was a Smithy with a Blacksmith shoeing horses. In 1940 the Practice became known as Barnards after Geoff Barnard the Senior Partner. The next 40 years encapsulated the "James Herriot" days of veterinary practice.
At Estcourt Vets Devizes our philosophy is always first class care for our patients as well as their owners and this takes a highly motivated type of person with real empathy to offer the quality service required. As well as treating animals when they are ill we offer a whole range of other services to keep your pets healthy. We only use safe and effective vaccines at Estcourt Vets. Each animal receives a full and thorough health check performed by the vet prior to any vaccine being administered.
This examination and contact with your vet is as important as the vaccine itself and is the ideal opportunity to discuss any areas of concern that you may have regarding your pet.Our animals are regularly exposed to a multitude of different parasites including Roundworms, Tapeworms, Lungworm, Fleas Ticks as well as various Mites and Lice!

They have continued to provide a service to pet owners through the pandemic utilising their car park, which can be very busy.
You call them when you get there and they come to you, the staff take every precaution even when outside.
Pets are generally treated inside without their owners; though if the cage at the entrance to the hospital was utilised then maybe owners could stay with their pets.
The staff try very hard so please be understanding.
But the entrance and exit on the roundabout is a hindrance.
Even if you can get your car through the narrow gateway, the car park does resemble something

Estcourt vets has been a lifesaver for us on more than one occasion! We have small animals, rats and rabbits, and they have always been there to help us when we are in need. It’s difficult to find a good exotic vet, but they’re awesome! The reception team is also super awesome and Emma is always there to help us get an appointment when we need it.
