Services
The Dance Factory is well known in the area for both it's shows and it's achievements. Many of Tracey's pupils have gone on to achieve great things in the world of dance, both at home and abroad. Some have used their history of dancing as a springboard to other things. The inner confidence, poise and self-esteem they gain from dancing will stay with them for life.
Miss Tracey Austin established The Dance Factory in 1986, and it is better equipped than most schools in the Morecambe and Lancaster area providing a purpose built studio, central heating, stereo system, twin tiered ballet barres, mirrors, changing room and all facilities. The school instructs to the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA) dance syllabus.
Here are some of the questions we expect most students would want to ask us. If you have any more questions then please get in contact with us. How long have you been teaching dance? Tracey has been teaching in her own school for 28 years. Do you have a certificate or diploma in teaching? Yes, please see the teachers page for a list of diplomas and qualifications.
Written by Greg Lambart. Two of the area's top dance teachers are about to experience a 'fuzion' of their talents. Tracey and Linda started out as dancers together "a few years ago!" at the Peggy Glenn school on Balmoral Road and have been friends ever since. But Dance Fuzion gives them a chance to work together and bring something new to Heysham.
We work hard with our students to provide them with the chance to be rocognized for their dance skills. This can be seen in the nominations for awards that our students receive. The International Dance Teachers' Association Scholarship AwardsThe purpose of the scholarship is to find really promising pupils either in classical or modern dance and help them by providing money for further tuition.
