Here at The Lookout Holiday Park we have two touring caravan sites within the park, offering hard standing pitches with electric, grass pitches with electric and standard grass pitches perfect for just camping. These wooden huts commonly associated with 'glamping' (glamorous camping) take the stress out of camping which means no more packing away soggy tents!
Services
We have two toilet blocks in the touring fields, the one in the A field pictured on the web site has been renovated to an exceptional standard last year. Here you have free hot showers, sinks and the toilets. We boast an excellent large childrens play area here at the Lookout, with swings, adventure climbing frames and slides and one for the little children as well.
My family have ben holidaying at The Lookout for the past 8 years, My children are now all teens and still love to go. The location of The Lookout makes it very accessible to visit a lot of different beaches/places of interest, Ringstead Bay, Durdle Door, Tyneham to name a few. There are many sites in the area but we feel the Lookout is one of the best and we have stayed at many (all over the country) so we feel qualified to judge!
Whilst we will endeavour to reserve the pitch or holiday home of your choice, we cannot guarantee this, therefore these may change at our discretion and you are advised to check upon arrival. Please also check the times of arrival and departure for your holiday, you can find this information on the touring and caravan holidays pages.
From the Main A31, follow signs for the A350 To Poole, and then onto the A351 to Wareham. Once at Wareham go through the town, over the river Frome bridge and we are a mile up on the left hand side, on the main road. Alternatively go around Wareham on the bypass and over the first roundabout, at the second take the first exit and we are just down on the right hand side.

Excellent camp site. Approx 10 x 15 meters pitches. Good amenities, clean showers, a 'Premier' store on site serving bacon butties in the morning, and a good place for kids with a play area (swings, slide, etc.)
One negative which is beyond the control of the site: you can hear the traffic from a nearby road. This only became an issue when morons were racing around the roundabout, (screeching tyres etc), in the early hours waking everyone.
5:00 am on a Sunday. Regardless, a wonderful stay.

Absolutely perfect! Our first visit to Dorset as a family! The facilities here were spotless!!! The cleaner(s) need a medal!!
Unfortunately though we went to book for another two weeks next year and found out they will be taken over and turned into a residential area!!! Such a huge shame!!! Perfect place and so close to so many different activities.!
Absolutely gutted!!
I think alot of local bars and activities will unfortunately be hit by this change
30th sept 2021 is take over day😔😥

It is a lovely place been going on the A Field for years much reduced touring spaces but still some great spots. They have really worked hard with the facilities spoilt only by a few mindless idiots intent on vandalising their efforts. But still they continue to repair and revive. Could do with a few lawn mowers as it looks so much better when tidy.

A friendly welcome to a nice campsite. Modern and clean ablutions building. We have enjoyed our stay so much we have booked to come again. It was perfect for us. We were lucky to get two pitches together for a bank hol. Easy 30 minute walk to Wareham or take the bus. There is a well stocked shop on site.
