Services
Shamba Holidays offers something for everyone! We are one of the few holiday parks in Hampshire with a swimming pool. Our superb 40ft heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool also has a separate toddlers paddling pool. The modern structure will allow the best of both worlds, as it has the ability to retract the exterior walls and roof to let the sunshine in!
So for those of you that haven't seen, the clubhouse at Shamba Holidays has been taken over by Matt and Lisa who run SO41 Catering. Started in 2019 SO41 Catering is build of the back of over 30 years shared experience in the hospitality industry (we will profile both of them in the coming days). They have some great plans for the summer which will be announced very soon so keep your eyes peeled on our facebook page.
Shamba Holidays is less than 25 minutes drive from Peppa Pig World, making us one of the closest holiday parks to the famous theme park. Many of our guests use us as a base for their visit. The journey from us across the New Forest is very picturesque and you'll be at Paultons Theme Park (home of Peppa Pig World) before you know it.
Just a 10 minute drive away from Shamba Holidays, Go Ape at Moors Valley Country Park will ensure your holiday includes a monkey sized grin. The 'classic' Tree Top Adventure features a NEW zip wire and some 1000 metres of high rope crossings - an unforgettable outdoor adventure in the New Forest.
And you can get off road and enjoy the epic forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an awesome segway experience in Dorset with a down to earth twist.

Shamba Holidays is situated on the boundary of Hampshire and Dorset, midway between Bournemouth and The New Forest. The New Forest, less than 3 miles away, comprises over 490 square miles of National Forest and heathland where wildlife wanders in its natural habitat. There are many picturesque villages and market towns in the forest worth visiting.

Just got back from a lovely stay here. We went away to celebrate the New Year in and can honestly say we had a great time! We were made to feel extremely welcome, including the kids!…we had a great dance and sing along In the clubhouse. It was the best New Year we have had in such a long time.
Facilities are so clean, shop well stocked.
It’s our second stay at this campsite and it will definitely not be our last! Already looking to book up for next year!
All covid precautions were in place.
Thank you to all the amazing staff, you went out your way to make our stay a special one x

Arrived harrassed from work on the 3rd September and stayed for 10 days. Staff are always lovely, toilets are cleans and yes the shower is a bit annoying when it keeps stopping but I do believe they are trying to do their bit about saving both water and the planet (fair play to them) After a few days of peace and quiet family emergency meant we had to change things and the ladies couldn't have been more accommodating. The pool was lovely and warm and vey clean and we made full use of it. The club house was nice and served nice meals and the staff there were very helpful and friendly and even allowed

Pros: Pool, bar/food, kids playground, entertainment such as games room and regular singers, lots of land to go walk the dog etc, sheltered by surrounding trees, friendly staff, good toilet/wash facilities cleaned regularly. Not far (20 mins) from Bournemouth for activities.
Cons: Need a car to get off site, not much by way of a supermarket close by, extra cars £35 to park in a field nearby, pool can be small when busy, additional costs for most extras.

Mixed reviews regarding Shamba Holidays.
We had a great check in. Arrived around 11.30am Sunday 22nd August had a little joke with the nice gentleman as we arrived early (and you’re told not to!) Three lovely members of staff, The first gentleman at the height restricted barrier, The kind Lady in Reception and the second Gentleman who showed us to our pitch and helped position our Caravan correctly. Great start!
Small but flat pitches.
Toilets and showers appeared clean until we looked up. The same cobwebs day after day for our 8 nights stay. The showers were poor, A sprinkle of water that

It is like a small/ basic holiday park rather than a campsite. We've been twice, once during the pandemic and once the following year.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The toilets and showers are kept clean. It's a bonus that there is a free pool on site and a field for kids to play football away from the campers. There is entertainment some nights in the bar and a basic games room.
We enjoy it here as a family of 4 with a 15YO and a 6 YO and will return again.

Lovely friendly site. Recently stayed here for 6 nights. Pitches see plenty bug enough although we had the large pitch and. 6m tent we didn't have much room in front I the tent but plenty to the side. Lovely clubhouse, quite small but really friendly couple run it with fab food at reasonable prices. Toilet were hallways clean, they are currently unisex and always 1 lot open. Nice pool, really warm. If anything a little too warm but was lovely to use. All in all a fab little site with a lot of facilities for the size of it. I can imagine they get very busy in a weekend and I sit. think the clubhouse
