Services
And locations don't come any better than the one you'll find here at our family run holiday park, which is not only situated on its own private beach, but along the Jurassic Coastline, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site. Whilst the coastline's geology may stretch back millions of years, everything here at Freshwater Beach is bang up to date.
Whether you are camping with a tent, or touring with your own caravan or motorhome, we have no shortage of room on our spacious touring and camping fields. Surrounded by beautiful countryside yet just a short stroll from the beach, our camping area covers over 20 acres of level grassland plus some additional sloping areas.
Enjoy a taste of luxury by hiring one of our spacious and comfortable holiday homes which are within easy reach of our private beach, swimming pools and club complex. Sleeping up to six people, our homes are fully equipped with mains supply, shower, toilet, TV, refrigerator, cooker and heating. If you're looking for caravan hire in Dorset, you can choose between our Super Deluxe, Deluxe, Standard and Budget ranges to suit your requirements.
Imagine owning your own holiday home in Dorset - right by the sea with a private beach that you can access whenever you choose to! Enjoy breaks away from March to November - and you won't even have to pack as you can leave everything in place ready to pick up where you left off. When you become a holiday home owner at Freshwater you have full use of all of our fantastic facilities and, of course, our very own private beach.
Sometimes you need to get away, relax and unwind but there never seems to be enough time. Luckily a short break at Freshwater is easy to plan. We have all sorts of special offers and date combinations so that your short break can fit in with your busy life. Our standard short breaks are Monday to Friday and Friday to Monday, but outside the main school holidays you can choose to arrive and depart any day of the week.

Lovely park. We were camping. Toilet blocks always clean and never any long waits to use the facilities. Again potwash areas were always clean and tidy and never a wait at the times we tried to use them.
Had a great pitch on the outer edge of the top field.
Didn't use the indoor pool as weather was amazing so spent most of our days at the outdoor pool.
Lots to do on and around the park, bowling alley, inflatable obstacles on the pool for kids at certain times. Huge bouncy castle and inflatable over on the fields and plenty of football pitches and open spaces..

Swimming pool good fun for kids and temperature is reasonable. Upstairs you can eat and the food is good. Small indoor bowing site as well. We have been a few times and my boys have always enjoyed it.

We absolutely love to visit Freshwater. I've been visiting the park since I was very small when my parents used to take my brothers and I on holiday and now (quite a few years later!) I still visit with my own little family. It's a beautiful location and the facilities on site have been improved a lot. We like to visit outside of peak season when it's a bit quieter, however the location is that great it doesn't really matter what time of year you visit as you'll always find something to do. We can't wait for our next holiday!

First time visitor. Went with other Familes with small children and had a fantastic time. The pitches for touring/camping are flat and there are plenty of them. The shower and toilet facilities aren’t beautiful (look a bit dated) but are superbly clean and function really well; really nice pressure in the showers.
We enjoyed using the multiple rooms in the club houses to entertain the kids. There’s a few kids play areas and of course access right onto the beach which is vast!
Didn’t use food facilities on site but the shop there is really well priced, considering the location and brands

Normally we go a bit wild in our motorhome, but fancied a week of not doing nothing and have water and electric on tap. Site clean and tidy. Lovely showers. Lovely indoor pool. Out of season - Outdoor pool closed, entertainment not on. Beach terrible very disappointing if you struggle to walk, need a chair or take a buggy, no way will you get on the beach. Mountains of shingle for sea defences. Dont know about summer time. I found the beach dangerous as a lot of shingle, paddled and sunk nearly to my knees where the ground gave way. Interesting surrounding areas, but check access! Other half would

Great facilities for camping/touring. The best showers and toilet blocks we have been to!! Great size pools inside and out. wonderful beach (mind - it shelves steeply into the sea.) Good bar. Great food. Fab place to chill for a weekend. Great place to base and tour Dorset and its Jurassic Coast.

We are having the best holiday- caravan was spotless on arrival looking out onto the private beach. staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they all seem really happy. Campsite is kept very… clean. Swimming pools lovely with plenty of lifeguards. We are also enjoying a few drinks on the rooftop bar each evening looking out to sea perfect end to the day. Couldn’t wish for more thank you Freshwater 😎😎

Excellent week away, shame they had no staff for the upstairs bar due to COVID. The site was well equipped and always clean and tidy. The beach was private and the dog walking facilities were excellent. The shop was well stocked and the bar was reasonably priced. It is somewhere we would go again.

Overall had a great week at this site. I was a little hesitant when I arrived. Wow! The camping field had a lot of campers tightly packed in. No dividers between pitches, so no privacy between you and your neighbouring campers. Although this was a little shock when arriving. We did have a good week, and got a little used to it. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Kept very clean and tidy. Children’s play area was OK. My son enjoyed the large inflatable play area they also had onsite. Nice walks either way up the coast. Thank you to all which work there in making our holiday enjoyable.

Live this campsite, right in the sea with private beach, indoor and outdoor pool, entertainment in the eve and a couple of little activities in morning for kids. Bowling, little park, big playing field with big inflatable slide/bouncy castle. Good shower/laundry facilities, shop on site, roof top bar looking over sea. Been 3 times now and booked again for next summer

Great location by the beach with good walks but not my idea of a holiday destination at all - too many people. Yes it was clean and well looked after but overcrowded and noisy - No privacy and people walk through your pitch.
Would have liked an opportunity to swim in the pool but so busy and no adult only swim session. (we did have kids with us)
Very expensive -

Absolutely stunning views. Lovely staff so friendly. Kids club and entertainment is all free. Pools are lovely and covered overnight. Everywhere is clean. Toilets and showers are really good sizes and spotless and all over the camp. We are in a motor home and chose a hard standing pitch and there is plenty of room and our own tap and drain and electrics - just remember to switch the power unit on ! Sea is crystal clear and the beach is amazing but a bit hilly to get to the sea. The beach is mostly shingle all the way to the sea but the views are wonderful when you get there. You would struggle
