Currypool Mill
Following the Government announcement and Guidelines earlier this month. We are pleased to announce that we are open this season, albeit with a lower capacity and without the use of facilities, including:- Shower/toilet block, Laundry, Washing up room, shop/reception, Pool, and Play Areas. Due to high demand we will be allocating pitches to our regular guests first.

We are sorry that we cannot take any new site guests at this time. All bookings must be for a week minimum and paid for in advance by phone or bank transfer. All units must have their own onboard facilities. When handling water and Elsan point taps guests will be required to wear gloves and ensure that the tap is sanitised for the next user.
Services
The Camping and Caravanning season at Currypool Mill opens on Good Friday (Easter) and closes in October. Washing up room - operated by 20p coins (we charge for this service to avoid being water being removed and used for other purposes). Toilet and shower block - separate male and female facilities.
Relax from a busy lifestyle into the gentle pace of country life in the Quantocks and Exmoor, explore the spectacular hill scenery by foot on horseback or cycle along the many designated paths. Visit one of the small local country pubs and enjoy the taste of Somerset with a variety of local food and drink.
We have three areas designated for touring caravans and motor homes. Places are pre-allocated and we cannot guarantee you your favourite spot although we will aim to try and do everything we can to accommodate your needs. Prices for 2021 TBC, due to increased cleaning schedules price changes and minimum booking rules will apply, in order to try and protect all guests day visitors will not be allowed on the site, with out prior written agreement.
Based short distance to Hinkley Point, Ideally suited to a worker, looking for a peaceful location to relax after work, Donkey cottage is our newly converted accommodation, it used to be home to 3 lovely donkeys (don't worry they have now relocated into a new stable of their own down in their field so you don't have to share the space!).
The log cabin situated at Currypool Mill comprises of one twin bedroom, shower room/wet room with WC, and open plan fully equipped kitchen/diner/living area with small fridge, counter top oven (with 2 cooking rings and convection mini oven), microwave, cutlery & crockery and seating. All bedding, bed linen towels and tea towels are provided and the beds made up prior to arrival.

A fiim favourite. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. Far enough away from the town to feel like you've got away from it all, but not too far away from beaches and other beauty spots.

Such a great family-friendly site. Good covid-19 precautions. Next to a small reservoir. Has a field for donkeys, mini pitch and putt course, playground, pond and small unheated swimming pool. The family that run the place are so friendly, hospitable and welcoming. Conveniently close to Bridgwater and to the north Somerset coastline.

We've really enjoyed our stay here. We camped up on the tents only field as opposed the the fields slightly nearer the toilets and showers.
It's been wonderful. Despite being half term there's only been a maximum of 3 tent units in the field and some of the week, we were the only unit!
The site is perfect for children who love to explore. Ours have loved playing in the stream, watching the waterfall and chatting with the donkeys. They've also had a great time attempting to row on the little boating pond.
This site suits us perfectly. The most wonderful mix of wildness and comfort. E.g. we have

Best campsite we have ever visited won't be ling until we return again. Can't fault the staff and the price was what swayed our decision against other sites nearby despite reading other out dated reviews elsewhere so pleased we decided to take a chance and form our own opinions. Thank you see you again soon.

Came here with kids on a School Trip to water processing plant. Very friendly Water Board staff and well organised day, with morning activities and walking around reservoir in the afternoon. The kids loved it and so did I.

Somersets best kept secret, a wonderful quiet and charming site. Lovely staff and lovely neighbours, many of whom are locals with seasonal pitches or just love the peace and quiet this site affords. Chose this site due to proximity to family in the area and happy to say we'd come again regardless of the family situation. Don't get this site confused with Mill Farm nearby, thats really commercial and unpleasant by comparison.
