Shelley's was founded by Peter Shelley in the 1960's. Steady growth led to incorporation in 1979 and in 2006 when Peter retired, the company was taken over by two of his daughters. It has grown every year since then to become a leader in its field. We repeat business with many of our customers and receive new business mainly through referral.
We have been manufacturing security gates and railings since the 1960s. This experience along with our manufacturing facilities helps to keep our prices competitive without compromising on quality. We can make stairs for every occasion, whether it's for a bespoke centrepiece or hard wearing galvanised fire escapes.

There aren’t quite the words to adequately share just how impressed I am with Dragan and the extended team at Shelley Engineering. I required a single staircase for my balcony to garden renovation. Dragan was exceptional throughout, has the most impressive response rate I have ever experienced and was professional, proactive and precise. From my first enquiry to installation took 4 weeks; I could not be more delighted. The work is accurate and aesthetically pleasing. I strongly recommend Shelley Engineer. They were very professional and got the job done in very short notice. Our wooden staircase was totally rotten and we needed to get rid of it asap as it was dangerous for the neighbors downstairs, whilst replacing with a metal one in time for summer. In this instance I worked with Dragan. He was on it straight away, very good with managing expectations and guiding us throughout the process. I didn't needed to be chasing him or anything like that. Great experience overall.

'Shelly Engineering' has fabricated bespoke metal frames and wine glass rack for Japanese Restaurant in Richmond. The final outcome was outstanding, beautifully crafted. Client were extremely happy. SE responded extremely prompt and efficient + leadtime was very feasible too. Great to working with their team. Second to None in the industry. Two thumbs up!!!

I had a custom balustrade made for the stairs in my Victorian home that I am refurbishing. The design had to blend with the character of the house and was quite detailed in parts. Dragan did a fantastic job and was super helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. I'd definitely recommend him and the team.
